If this is the one between the Grand Hotel and the Blue Bridge, it's now closed and become a cafe. :-(

kevlandy - this is the one on the South Cliff past the Spa; still open, I'm happy to say.

Thanks for the prompt reply, we didn't venture any further than The Spa Bridge, we walked back through town to visit the castle. - I'm glad to hear the lift is still in service. :-)
