Honestly when it comes to the oni fighting style; I agree with attacking only when you have the upper hand. I wonder if there bonus points for separating the party though. Maybe like a +5 advantage for tactically picking and choosing a fight etc. Once again another great video from Ari Love watching the channel grow

Opening with the Rhyme was super cool. I can’t wait to play among us with my party by using an Oni. Or maybe a society of Oni, but they think they are the only Oni in the society.

"they can infiltrate society, gain the trust of others, and slip away if needed." I never knew oni's were so versatile, playing one could be so fun (though fighting against one would be an absolute pain T-T). Would be especially helpful during a revolution, or for a reconnaissance mission, perhaps. I kinda wanna pitch this to my dm now.

I did not realize that Oni had received such a glow up across editions. Here is a copy & paste from the description of Oni out of 2nd edition: The common oni can polymorph self three times per day, fly three times per day, become invisible two times per day, use cloud trapeze (for themselves only) once per day, and cause fear at will. A few common oni (5%) can spew a column of molten copper at a target up to 10 feet away (make a normal attack roll), causing 4-24 (4d6) hit points of damage. The oni can make one copperspitting attack each day.
