I just bought the VHS on ebay for $3. :) I recall a scene that I think is from this movie. AP is on a public phone with his wife/GF, holding a lamp (?) he brought for the baby. She tells him the baby died when she fell down the stairs because he wasn't there to help her. He flips out and Hackman yells into the phone "what did you say to him?!" Am I remembering the right film? I was a kid and it was a long time ago.

in this movie i cant believe that francis (al pacino) never meet his son, who he has never seen. On the back-side of the cover to the dvd there is a picture where they are sitting together, but in the movie they never meet each other :S

yeah plus there was some nudity, maybe that had something to do with the time.
