Hey bro, as a former Army sergeant, I gotta correct something he said. We take the Army physical fitness test twice a year. Also, as it pertains to the stealth bomber, he didn't mention the fact that is sends supersonic waves to the ground so that you can't hear it as it flies over you. I saw one when I stationed at Fort Bliss, Tx. Not only is it badazz looking, you couldn't hear it! Good video mate! Cheers!

As a former Navy Intel Specialist and former Army 96B Intel Analyst, I used to call the Marines a tiny division of the Department of the Navy. Then I went to Afghanistan as a civilian in direct support of CJSOTF missions. I have seen with my own eyes the Hell that is unleashed when the Marines come to see you. SEMPER FIDELIS!!

I watched a video of American soldiers with a group of allies in combat… When you see the men moving through the combat zone, I could easily pick out the US military from our allies military just by the way they removed.. Our allies soldiers had a bounce to them as they moved along… US military men had no bounce to their movement. They were gun ready and their heads on the swivel…. Their movements were in pace with the other American soldiers.. It was really fascinating to see that…🇺🇸🇺🇸🫡😎

I’ve noticed that too! It’s like it’s second nature to them. These videos should focus more on the people in the military because the weapons (and machinery) are useless without someone to operate them. Even drones and smart missiles have to be launched by someone somewhere. Our military is trained and treated very well and the US population is also more patriotic and passionate about our country and its military than any other country. You don’t see homes flying their country’s flag in other countries. The US is the only country whose people do that. It makes me so proud!

Correction to the video. There are 1.3 million ACTIVE personnel in ALL branches of the US Military. However, there are millions more in reserve and more in things like the national guard, air national guard, etc. Another correction/clarification...the USA has over 15,000 planes when you combine ALL of the branches of the military. The US AIR FORCE has over 5,000 of those, the Navy has the SECOND largest air force IN THE WORLD. The US Army is like 4th or 5th, and the US Marines I believe would be in the top 10 or at least 20.

Kind of surprised this video didn't mention about the Marine Corps. They literally are famous and been around for ages. "The Devil Dogs" being one of the famous group in 1918 of the 1rst Battalion 6th Marine Regiment. Granted this isn't a history video, but again I'm surprised that it didn't really mention about the Marine Corps as a whole. In my opinion a very important part of the US Military which are still a thing today.

I am a Blue Star Mom.What that means is that my son or daughter (son in my case) is in the United States Armed Forces. He is a Staff Sgt in the Oklahoma National Guard but was in the regular Army for 6 of the 18 years he's served. He has gone on 3 tours and was overseas for 4 of the 6 years he served in regular serve. His MOS was 19K (Stryker driver) but now he's in the Elite 45th Infantry and is a F13 scout and leader. This video really doesn't explain the VAST VAST strength of our men and women...because it only talks about those in uniform. Most Americans in the South own at least one firearm, and many of us own more and have been trained to use them. Besides the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Space Guard protecting our land, we have the citizens who do the same. You just don't want to corner any of us. We take the Constitution pretty seriously.

1.)Not a single one of those pictures were of Navy Seals except the first one that’s just Army new recruits. Seals look WAY WAY WAY better then that and the things they do way harder than that, why he didn’t get real pictures I have no idea. Seals in their 60’s look better than the soldiers they showed in that segment. Look it up tons of them have KZbin channels. 2.)We also have the Coast Guard (our Coast Guard is a Military force for us unlike others and does take part in wars and anti piracy) we also have the National Guard Reserves and State Guards. Also, he barely touched on our Space Force. 3.)Military spending is actually closer to a Trillion if you add Black Budgets to the public numbers. 4.)There are probably more Irish (Irish decent) living in the US than in Ireland. My brother’s stationed out of Coronado in CA. He’s been in for several years now, but I always double take when I see him because he literally seems to fluctuate between a little “pudgy” and then all the sudden freaking RIPPED. He looks so different pre and just post a deployment versus when he’s been home for awhile! Edit to add…That was in no way meant to be an insult to Navy seals or my brother! Even “pudgy” him is scary as hell to most anyone except me, because I’m his sister and I can provoke him without worry of any repercussions 😂

It’s all muscle memory, it’s a very real thing and the more you’ve conditioned your body through your life the quicker you can hop right back in to shape. I worked in the fitness industry for a long time, you’d be surprised how many of those fitness models are pudgy for half the year. With lots of preconditioning turn around time from pudge to ripped can be 2 to 3 months max. They deserve to get a little happy pudge off deployment.

The one thing he did not talk about is that we have energy based weapons, high-powered lasers on navy ships, and gonna be put on aircraft. Right now we have 5th Generation aircraft. We also have sound based weapons, though they generally aren't super practical. Sound waves can be projected with enough force to unalive anyone caught in it. Explosives can do the same thing, though, and are a lot more versatile, so those are what actually get used. Also, pretty sure we already have weapons in space, if I remember correctly. Forget the term, but from what I recall, there are these things in orbit that can launch giant metal rods back down to Earth, doing a considerable amount of damage. Don't know if they've ever actually been used, though.

@11:30 from what I remember the B-2s, while old, are still highly sensitive technology, so they are stationed only in the middle of the continental US where they are highly protected and there is less surveillance on their movements. On the rare bombing runs they did in Iraq and Afghanistan they would take off from like South Dakota or something and fly all the way to the target, refueling mid-air and returning all in one run. It's like a 13-hour mission. Point is, they don't even want to land a B-2 outside of the country.

Yes. You could literally row a boat from Russia to America or sail a boat from Russia to America or visa versa. You can see America, specifically Alaska, from the most Eastern point of Russia, or you can see Russia from the most western point of Alaska. There have been times that Russian aircraft got lost and wound up in American airspace, and the US Air Force had to direct the Russian pilots back to Russia. Russian aircraft often lack GPS, something that American aircraft usually have. I mean nowadays that's not really all that surprising, also American pilots are often better trained than Russian pilots.

I was in the Navy and was in 7th fleet from 02-06. It was fuckin insane watching the Tomahawk's launch day after day, night after night. Some nights you could go out for a smoke and it would be bright as fuck because of all the launches happening. I was on a frigate and we spent the rest of our time hunting Chinese subs, and Somali pirates when we weren't doing operations in the Gulf. I was 18 and enlisted a week before 9/11 happened. Shit changed my life.

The weird stepping thing is a variant of a military step and its primary purpose is to ensure that everyone in a unit is moving the same way to help the unit keep time during marching. In modern times its mostly a parade thing and that's one of the more exaggerated ones I've seen. It looks like a very aggressive high step which is an easier variation of the german goose step. Originally it was genuinely important since everyone stepping exactly the same way during linear (napoleonic and surrounding) warfare was how you kept a unit together and moving efficiently, and a march step was recorded as far back as Rome to allow commanders to accurately predict how fast they could move troops (a common step gave you twenty miles in five hours and a full step gave you twenty five miles in five hours; any fast was considered running and couldn't be predicted beyond 'faster but they also get tired). The US military does have a few marching steps, but they're fairly subdued and most troops only experience the handful of relatively sillier ones during training as a discipline thing.

They started off the video about messing with and invading the US, granted the US population was much smaller in WWII but the Japanese decided against invading because of private gun ownership. Please remember we have to remove every small arm taken to Mexico or further south from that estimate. Some 80% of small arms used by the cartels in 2000 are suspected to come from privately owned US weapons. How that percentage still measures up now, 24 years later, is debatable, but it certainly still has an impact on American stock piles.

I joined the Army out of high school, became a Chinook repairman, went to Germany, got out, went to Aircraft Mechanic school, applied to the Army helicopter flight training program, after graduating, was accepted for flight training, went back into the Army, flew Chinooks in Germany, got my private pilot’s license while there, flew all over Europe, joined the National Guard and flew several more years in Huey’s, got an airline job as a mechanic, retired from the Army, changed airline jobs a few times, gathering pensions along the way, retired, and am living happily ever after with my wife of 30 years in the Philippines. A nice life, full of adventure!

As an Army Brat, and amateur military historian, the purpose of marching that way, including the goose step is done for several reasons, almost all of them psychological. 1) Helps build unit discipline and cohesion. A unit that can march together with discipline and cohesion, can fight with discipline and Cohesion. 2) psychological warfare. The sounds of a massive amount of troops approaching can be intimidating to your enemy, and build confidence at home. Armys used war drums, horns, or pipes to get the same effect in the past. From a distance it can make a small force appear larger, and a large force sound like death and hell approaching. Exaggerated marches just amplifies the sound, and increases the emotional effect. 3) Tradition, especially with countries who have strong military traditions, or who just want people to believe they do.

The B2 (flying wing) flew low down a canyon I lived in years ago, maybe 400 feet. We were driving out of the canyon and noticed it in my side mirror. It is so unique there's no question what it was. It was flying to do a pass over our New Year's Day Rose Parade. We pulled over, got out and as it approached at quite low speed, we waved furiously and the pilot wagged the wings in response From the front, there was zero noise, and when it passed, it was far quieter than a small Cessna. Another point. My brother (literally a retired rocket scientist), was in the Army reserves. Every service has a reserve force. Millions of well trained military personnel who do a few weeks every year of reserve training. He retired as a Lt. Colonel. In case of a war, these reserves get called up and usually take on non combatant duties, freeing the younger military to serve in combat situations. This adds millions of trained military personnel in case of war. You are still required to register for the draft (conscription), but that has been dormant since after the Vietnam war. We now have a space force, which deals with the vital role of satellite communications and monitoring to combat. We don't have to guess what's happening in distant countries, we can just look down with high resolution digital cameras. It is very expensive and surely there are opportunities for corruption (Congressmen and women get rich on insider information on military contracting companies). But over all, no one gets to compromise the constant technical improvements in our weapons arsenal. And there is no way any country can mount an invasion across the Atlantic, and the vast distance between China and USA: the Pacific Ocean. We also have lots of bases all over the world, from which we can quickly retaliate if some goof ball dictator attacks with missiles. I read yesterday that if China sent nukes, most of their missiles would be shot down, but that in China, the retaliation would reduce their population by 400 million people. And every bit of infrastructure needed to wage war would be obliterated by missiles and practically invisible cruise missiles. Donald Trump is another great deterrent. When re-elected, despots everywhere will stand down because he will do everything possible to stop all military adventures. Mr. Biden pissed this advantage away. One other factor: The USA has more oil reserves that all the rest of the world combined. It's estimated that we have enough to last at least 300 years. We can fuel our industry without regard to foreign production. Alaska is awash in oil we can tap if needed. And can you imagine the war production by the likes of Elon Musk? So, when are you coming to visit and to see for yourself what a great country we've created here. No put down of UK and other developed countries intended. We have this great place because of the wisdom of our founding fathers, most of them have deep family roots in Europe.

high knees just keep you mobile/flexible and work out the front and side thigh, when you need to post up on a wall slightly lower than standing hight youll have to crouch slightly, like a wall sit, which strains the front and sides of the thighs. helps with that aswell as improving your legs ability to "hold" more weight than your body weight comfortably, you might have an 80kg backpack and 2 guns, aswell as ammo, survival supplies, contact equiptment, etc which can more than double your weight on your thighs/knees, so working those out in that way reduces the strain on your back by offloading a lot of the weight to the legs/thighs, that plus being able to scale atleast 5ft walls is crucial, dont want to have to walk out onto the street to go around a wall cause you cant get over the wall of the hole you made/ fence you cant loudly break down if in night ops

The B-21 Raider is replacing the B-2. The B-21 is slightly smaller, but it's capable of fully autonomous flight. A.k.a its an unmanned bomber. Look up Fat Electrician's video about Rapid Dragon. It enables any cargo plane to drop cruise missiles via pallets (depending on the size of the plane). There's even test footage of it in action with the pallets dropping a test cruise missile. Edit: I forgot to mention the A.I piloted F-16 that's currently in testing. It has completed dog fighting training against human pilots. The pilot has been the limiting factor for the current and future aircraft. A.I will remove those limitations, which is exciting.

Having grown within sight, and stone throwing distance*, from Wright-Patterson A.F.B. in S. W. Ohio I've always had an interest in military related videos. From driving around on base, my car as a teen had a windshield pass on it, to being with my father as he worked on keeping the birds flying. I can not tell you how many times I would be in an aircraft, when my father worked midnights, and waking up , on the flight line, and he would be off on another job. I would walk to flight line to the visiting pilots hanger/dorm rooms and fall back asleep. Can't do that now a days.

The marching thing is so funny. In basic training that was the first thing they broke us of. When trying to march you grew up thinking about a marching band. US forces don't march that way. You march in step like you walk and swing your arms like you walk. At first when they say forward you start high stepping and you get ripped apart. You can't cover much ground high stepping.

Interestingly, most marching bands don't high step, either. It's a Hollywood manufactured stereotype. It's awfully hard to play your instruments well when high stepping. Too much jarring motion. There are a few exceptions, but generally speaking marching band teaches people to "march" very smoothly. In high school I could march with a cup of water on my head without spilling. I imagine it's still very different from how the military marches (they march with the intent to cover ground, after all), but I just wanted to make the clarification :) Have a nice day!

11:15 The B-2's only really touch ground in the state of Missouri for the most part for security and strategic positioning purposes (very central state in the continental US). They fly from Missouri to wherever on the Earth the problem is and then back to Missouri, getting refueled as-needed along the way. The crew even has basic amenities like a toilet, microwave, etc. for comfort during those long sorties. All that stealth and still a 40000 lbs payload capacity - granted that's ~30000 lbs less than what B-1 and B-52 offer but it's a ghost in the battle space.

I actually used to teach Precision Guided Munitions for artillery. I did it for 13 years after serving 20 in the Army. The Artillery has some very precise munitions no one would want to get hit by. Even more precise ones on the way.

If the US wants to fly into Russian territory it will mainly use Ramstein Air Base in Germany. Ramstein is one of the largest European air bases operated by the United States and supports operations throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, and Northern Africa. Although technically....the US operates major air bases in Portugal, Turkey, Italy, and there is a joint base with the RAF at the RAF Mildenhall. The US actually has over 128 different bases in 55 counties. Then if you include countries that the US has joint operations forces with that number exceeds 250 locations that the US could launch operations from (not including Aircraft carriers and satellites).

The drone part is way scarier than what was said in the fact that there is already a design and testing of a HQ Drone that operates hundreds of tiny drones the size of a 2 liter Soda/Pop bottle. The cost is $500k, but those tiny drones are less than $80. The reason it is scary is because it can be used by literally any part of the military with those tiny drones either acting as overwatch, assault, spy, or even transportation for small C4 drop bombs.
