Agree, she was very loved at some time in the past. We could see it when she caught sight of the rescuers still in the truck. Her ears were up and she was hoping for good things from them.

That moment where she touches her hand, and then just leans in is so heartbreaking, and so sweet. She just realizes “oh, okay.” And just suddenly she remembers that she’s a dog, and that people aren’t all so terrible. Someone loved her, once. I wish we knew her story before, but it’s her now that matters in the end.

So glad there are two people; at first I thought it was just one. It’s so cool that they let the mama ride in front. This is the second rescue I’ve seen where they let the mama ride up front and the mamas sit still don’t bite or jump around, but watching, looking. You guys do such a good job!! Blessings.🐾❤️
