I made a switch from Split funds to Harvest funds and Hamilton funds. I had to take a short term hit but I know its for the better. As in one of your previous videos 'If you want sleep peacefully look into Harvest funds'. I prefer not missing dividends and not too much action. Just want to keep it simple. I love my rent (Dividends) from my assets (stocks). Thank you Adrian for coming out with this :). I honestly like my EIT.UN ,LBS,CASH,SBC,HYLD,HDIF and HDIV

Is the somewhat low daily volume on these ETFs something to consider when deciding whether or not to purchase them?
@randalxu48892 жыл бұрын
I think that low volume simply means most people are holding and few people are selling. ETF has a market maker, so you should not have problem of selling these if that's what you worry about. 😀

Thanks for showing us some interesting alternatives Adrian! 😄 Love the knowledge sharing and the pursuit of perfection! I own both DSG and DFN, going to keep them for a long long time. Not worried about missing dividends here an there. With over 15% yield, even if these funds miss half the time, it still beats put money in a GIC account. Looking forward to watch your next video! 🙏

Hi Adrian, thanks for the info. Can you make a video on how leverage works for these ETFs? What are some downsides of 25% leverage. Is it suitable for long term or short term investor?
@L3G0FaN2 жыл бұрын
When you apply leverage to an ETF, you’re taking a bet that the stock goes up consistently more than it goes down. Otherwise, the magnified negative return bias with leverage is detrimental to the fund over time.

hello Adrian! Looking at all these etf and investment firms, what are the risks of sending our money to these firms (companies)? What happen if they go under? Like I feel much comfortable owning JEPI with JP morgan than these smaller companies like Mulvhill or Evolve (both of them only have about 30M under management). Any one has any ideas?

15:55 "These Enhanced ETF's have all basically come out in 2022." That observation does raise some questions, maybe some concerns. 1. If this CC with 25% Leverage Strategy is so effective, why hasn't it been a staple of available investments for many years now? 2. With so many new Funds being created, isn't there the significant risk of Trading Volume being spread out among many Funds and thus resulting in low Liquidity? What if people want to sell and there are no buyers because there are too few Investors spread over too many Funds? 3. Adrian's influence. Could Adrian's Channel and the PII Community be having a significant impact on the increasing attractiveness of CC, 25% Leverage and Split Share Funds? Is that a significant reason why so many new Funds have come out in 2022? Another smart and helpful video Adrian. As always, complex topics raise many questions. Have a great week.
@PassiveIncomeInvesting2 жыл бұрын
good questions, i won't answer the third because its quite funny . I wish I had that much influence.... the first, NO its not a concern as the "all in one funds" are nothing , they just hold other funds which already have a solid track record. for #2 trading volume is not an issue, i do not get what the fuss is about. it does not make any fund better or worse or affect its value. that said, they all have high AUM and are very liquid anyways.
@belovedsurfing72102 жыл бұрын
@@PassiveIncomeInvesting Hey Adrian. Sorry for taking so long to respond. My New Year's resolution is to try (the word is "try") to do a better job keeping up with my Online Correspondence (boy it's hard though...) #1. So, the reason CC and 25% Leverage have not been a staple part of the Investment offerings for a long time is because...the underlying funds have been around for a long time? I get that this results in security for the "All In One Fund" that employs the strategy. I guess Fund Managers just haven't thought about creating and promoting the CC and 25% Leverage approach to a basket of strong underlying funds until recently. #2. Of course. The funds you share with viewers have been well researched by yourself, with strong underlying funds (blue chip stocks and funds composed of blue chips), and, as you point out hundreds of millions in AUM. The funds you recommend do indeed appear to have high liquidity. My question is just with all the new funds popping up like grass blades after a storm, how many funds will pop up before investors find the newest funds lacking in investors and thus liquidity? How many CC and 25% Leverage Funds until the market is saturated? #3. Could be my man! You're growing in leaps and bounds and doing interviews with the big players in the investment space. Happy New Year to you and Erica! 🥂
