I've heard of the first story before. The thing that always occurs to me is that he was gone for seven years. Meaning that he had to have decomposed. Which means that his body was bigger when he went into the chimney than he was when they found him. So whatever position his body was found in might not be the one he was in at first. Plus, seven years is a long time for a lot of forensic evidence to wash away.

My wondering is if maybe there was something stuck in the chimney that he was trying to get out, and the way to squeeze through was to have less layers on.. and if he was with that guy Adam, maybe he convinced him to go down there, and moved the furniture to seem like he was helping.. but then when he got stuck.. he just left, leaving the kid to die.

I thought about this too. My other musing was if drugs were involved. Maybe a fun time turned into a horrible trip.

My first impression of the statue's posture was that of shielding or protection as well. However, I really got a bad vibe when Dan showed the close-up of the statue's face. Like, by myself, out loud in my house I recoiled from the screen and said "Oh nah, fuck that. I don't like that at all". And I'm an extremely skeptical person. When I first heard about the Bloody Mary urban legend in elementary school, I went immediately to a mirror and tried it. I would, and have, sleep in a haunted place (hospital, prison, etc) overnight. I would participate in a literal seance, and I would volunteer to stand in the pentagram. Even still, that statue's face can fuck all the way off.

If you guys like mysterious deaths, check out this one from my previous college campus Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The death of Jack Davis Jr. He went missing on campus under questionable circumstances back in 1985 and turned up dead days later in a exterior stairwell that had been searched prior. I used to walk by that stairwell and never knew.

@lamontekennard8797 if you're interested in knowing about Jack, I have yet to find any videos or podcast episodes about his case. I learned about it in a dark corner of the Internet that led me to the true crime book: Justice Wanted: The Kid in the University Stairwell by Marlene Gentlecore.

That's my daughter's case. She no drugs or alcohol in her system. She had paranoid medication resistance schizophrenia and rhe jail couldn't put her on the meds she needed. However, we made a deal with the DA that they'd call us when she was released. But we never got a phone call from them again. She jad no drugs in her system. However I guess the jailers thought releasing her around 2 am downtown was somehow ok. So even after a few years we've never gotten justice or any real answer. All i want, as a parent is to know what really happened to her and. God less you Evanae Nyckole Silva, I love you baby and miss you more every single day. God bless you !!❤❤💜

I live near the black angel and although I don’t believe in the curse itself the energy of it is heavy and dark. Its in the middle of the cemetery and the moment you get passed it the energy dissipates. Its definitely strange overall

Story 1 - he most likely suffocated. One of the dangers of going into tight spaces like that is when you scream for help, it lets all the air out of your lungs. That makes your chest cavity smaller, then you slip down further, then you have less oxygen. It's a horrifying and terrible way to die

Reiki is a lot like hypnosis. If you believe in it, you’ll feel it. If you don’t believe in it, you just take a nice nap. I’ve done a 180 on my personal thoughts about mysticism and new agey stuff.

My personal belief about the relationship between the entities and the cultures is that there is a common denominator: the person trying to remove the entity. So, whatever you believe works to help you (sage, incense, prayers, rituals, etc.) then that is the effective action. The ritual, deity, or object being used has absolutely no power without the intention behind it. It is a tool, a point of focus for the procedure. It's a lot like medical treatment: if the patient wishes for a negative outcome, it will be negative. And a tool is only as good as the intent behind it. Try hammering a nail and not using any force behind your swing. Hope that helps!❤

The first story rings a bell…if I remember correctly, Josh wasn’t happy at home, didn’t want to go to school and was wandering the neighborhood feeling alone and avoiding going home bc he felt it was a toxic place. Maybe that’s why it took them 5 days to report him missing… although I could be recalling it wrong. He enters the chimney (trying to enter the cabin to find refuge) head first, gets stuck. The body's blood will pool in the head risking death by stroke. Or he couldn’t breathe or move his chest to get enough oxygen-hypothermia sets in…RIP Josh

I'm a Reiki practitioner!!! I'm willing to do Reiki for you both. I live in Brooklyn, HMU next time you're in NYC! Also... what if the boy in the chimney took his clothes off, so they wouldn't get sooty, before going willingly into the chimney?

For me, the first worse is when people have really bad grammar. Also, my bathroom is frequently haunted WITHOUT any spirits. There's a constant odor of sulfur, and rotten eggs, and fresh crude oil... I think the most fascinating thing in all of the stories you guys tell/read is the way glowing orbs seen to be the vehicle of alternative beings/nonhumans.to manifest in our realm. It's starting to make me think that those types of creatures from alternate dimensions, or that travel interdimensionally have a technology that acts like a kind of destination locator, and it opens a portal when it stops, depositing the traveler at that point from their dimension to a specified point in our dimension. Also, directly adjacent to the "Incubus" corner would be the "Korn" corner, or the "Korner". I refuse to apologize.

The statue is creepy, but a lot of cemetery monument statues look down to watch over the dead. The Lady with the urn and the cherubs are always looking down. I've only ever seen one that looked out to the horizon.

Oh, sweet, innocent Lynze... Men have been claiming the "she was a succubus" defense for cheating for millenia. That said, "Hot tub Succubus" may be a better movie than "Live, nude gargoyles".
@user-tc5pl3zw3h11 ай бұрын
Statues in cemetaries don't freak me out so much. Gargoyles on buildings really get me, though. I wish Dan would find some stories of gargoyles coming to life and terrorizing old world Transylvania, or somewhere. That's the horror theme I haven't seen enough or done well. The ideal gargoyle movie should be called "Live, nude gargoyles! (Come on in and get 'stoned' at The Cathedral!)"

If you don't believe or have a hard time understanding curses ,then why would you be so into crystals? Kinda seems to contradict each other ! But then again maybe I don't understand crystals ! But to me if you believe in dumping salt on doorways, burning sage, and keeping things for protection ,why couldn't you believe that someone could have so much negative energy against you that it brings you bad fortune! Just from the constant negative energy! But that's my opinion buts we all know how that goes too lol ! You guys are awesome lol .

So that guy Andy definitely killed the kid in the first story. Without a doubt. And he apparently also has a relative with enough money to pay three police investigations to go away. Because the folded clothes and the second victim also being stuffed in a confined space plus the third being stabbed so many times is classic serial killer figuring out what his M.O. is going to be. Honestly though I wouldn't have thought it was a cover-up except for the other two victims. The fact that the only witness to the stabbing died in a bar fight and they immediately dropped the case is really suspicious, pairing that with Andy confessing to another murder where the body was hidden in a similar way to Josh and that Andy left town right after Josh went missing. Yeah when you put it all together that Criminal Minds episode gets pretty obvious.

Has anyone thought about maybe chimney kid was partying with friends in that cabin, they drink or do some other unsafe things, and DARE the kid to do it? I mean the cloths right? Maybe they were thinking that cloths from the bottom down would get stuck on something and they wanted to play it safe? Also those same kids trying so hard to find the killer, going to great lengths to make it sound believable? I bet those kids knew about that accident. Dare gone wrong and didnt report it because they didnt want to get in trouble? *mic drop* lmao
