Just wanted to say amazing story similar experience!! Sold my beautiful very naughty horse as he continued to rear (I didn't fall off but it was enough to say we're done now) after 4 months giving birth. I'm fine riding in the arena or out and about but in the same place which the old horse use to mess I'm a pile of nerves so you are definitely not alone!!

My inspiration is Thomas Ritter who first taught me how to rejoice in success and rejoice with your horse. And Sherry Ackerman who every ride inspires me that I can be me when I ride. The analytical, thinking, feeling rider that I am and through movement I can connect with my horse.
