Seeing abandoned hospitals gives me a sort of... upset vibe. This hospital, full of hope, had to shut down due to a hurricane. It’s like traveling back in time, seeing the writing on the charts and boards. Just imagine, the patients, deathly sick or suffering, struggling to evacuate this hospital. So yes highly likely there were bodies down there. However due to safety codes those bodies would have been removed or whatever was left of said bodies after being submerged for so long was bagged and tagged and sealed up in a room like the sealed room Josh broke with all the toxic bags. By the way very dumb of him to break that seal. That hospital for sure holds more then just black mold.

I was unable to leave my hospital and worked for several days during Hurricane Harvey. Some of this hospitals’ staff were transferred to our facility (I’m not sure if you named the hospital, so I won’t). Many told us how they were rescued . Harvey was actually supposed to hit our area (corpus christi) but took a last minute turn & hit a few smaller cities above us (rockport is where most people passed due to the hurricane) & the rains & floods actually hit laredo & houston & san antonio the worst(where people passed due to the waters) before it even hit the news broadcasters & guards were literally announcing on every news station that the people should “write their social security numbers on their arms to help identify the bodies if anything where to happen to them” it was awful. We were without power for days & some areas for weeks/months. They gave out emergency foodstamps & free hospital visits to anybody that needed them during this time. There was a lot of organizations that were put together & went to donate clean water & emergency medical kits & food to the people that were most affected by it. It was/is by far one of the worst storms to ever hit texas since the hurricane back in the 90’s i believe.

Thank you for the first 15-20 seconds josh! I live in Houston and my family had to evacuate and my little brother Jack fell into a comma because as we were getting the few things we needed, a big gust of wind made our neighbors mailbox fly and hit him in the head. He just got out of that comma a few days ago and we are so happy that god have us hope that he would come back to us. He only 2 by the way...

Rebecca Fokes immediately after the hurricane and when trucks were able to drive through the neighborhood, the Red Cross provided meals for maybe 5 days. But since we had never flooded before (even when the flood hit earlier that year and was deemed a “500 year flood”), we didn’t have flood insurance. The only direct help we received was from FEMA, who came out to assess the damage and gave us some money (which was about 1/5 of what we needed to repair everything but many people had it worse so they got more money). Thankfully we didn’t flood as bad as others near us, but it doesn’t take much water to totally ruin floors and walls.

Its so sad, I am a nurse and know how expensive hospitals are. My relative is building a new heart hospital where I live in Melbourne, Australia and its hundreds of millions of dollars! For years I have been saying how lucky I am to live in Australia, we don't have earthquakes, hurricanes or tsunamis. We do get bad bushfires and flooding however. We have low crime compared to other countries and strict gun control. It's scary how crazy hospitals look like with no people in there. Because remember, hospitals ALWAYS have people in them 24/7! Look forward to more of your adventures! I do think you and your team would love exploring in Australia, as long as you dont mind ruffing it! Take care Janelle (Melbourne, Australia)

Jason Bouphasavanh yeah I have a history teacher partner so always watched documentaries on the black plague & ww2 stories. Yeah depending on how critical the patients on the wards/section is will take into account how many nurses are working. We have 4 nurses at night as i specialize in cardiothoracic care. But most wards have 3-4 at night. Its a great job but we are at high risk of violence from the patients we care for. Really a rewarding career however

My Mum's a surgeon and there was a bomb threat at the hospital. Everyone else evacuated, but not the patients and nurses and doctors in the operating rooms. They weren't allowed to evacuate cause there was an open body in a sterile area and they couldn't bring it out because of the high risk of infection. So what they have to do is close the patient as soon as possible, and then they can leave. So my guess is that they had to close up the person as soon as possible before they were allowed to leave.

I lived this. It was HORRIFIC. But I love the way we cared for each other! I had actually just had major surgery and was left terrified I would die because of walking through flood waters with a huge wound.

You handled the death of many people who have died during the hurricane exstreamly well and walking through a abandoned hospital would of send shivers down your spine but you handled it exstreamly well so thank you for sharing this video with us.

Just a random thought, how much of that stuff could you have stole from the hospital, and then sold on the black market.

Sold on the black market?! Nothing in that hospital is worth anything to anyone except other hospitals cause if it was, it would have already been taken.

@@Scratch5591 youre dumb asf each of those surgery lights are worth $3,000 - $20,000. In a few days with some equipment and tools they could have walked out with over $100,000 worth of stuff I bet. Some things were left behind just because it would be harder to take the lights since they would actually have to take them out of the ceilings

I live on the east coast and I’ve lived through a lot of hurricanes it’s horrible. Some people can’t pack up and move due to money, there’s abandoned houses that were flooded, so many places we can’t live due to it being on low ground. Most of us stay for family or lack of money.

Horrorlover97 Yeah, I remember when Sandy came through in 2012, there are people in my town moved to shelter for a few months and just never went home because they couldn’t afford to save their homes. Real sad.

I remember when Harvey hit us ( we live in Houston) it was a mess downtown . My family was fortunate enough to live in an area with no severe flood. When I pressed on the video I did NOT expect it to involve Harvey. Brings back memories
