The metal stairs and railing on the top section weren't there when I went (2008) just shallow foot holds carved into the bare rock. It wasn't too bad except for the local unofficial "guides" who were basically just getting in the way trying to make a buck "helping" tourists get up the scetchiest bits. That and the Hornets nests on either side made me more nervous than the height and exposure.

Hi It's really nice to see Srilanka after long time.. HUGE recommendation according to my last visit in 2018.. Visit Pigeon Island national park beach in Trincomalee and have a diving session at the virgin beach with it's very own corals and sea creatures. Don't forget to record and upload it here.. M8! Try climbing that in 1998! No metal work! Just wooden steps and a rope 2 hold on 2, no 2 way system, only 1 route up and down, basically climbing over 1 and another! Sketchy!!!! That’s nothing m8!!!!
