We're working on 15 new videos for this spooky season, and to make sure you don't miss out on content, we made this submechanophobia compilation. Thank you so much!

For anyone wondering about the I Corsari serpent. Ther is footage on KZbin of when he was in his prime and moved a LOT more. Recently the ride was closed for refurbishment but the part refused to clarify on the serpents future. Given how badly he's been maintained, I expect he'll be removed and scrapped.

My big issue is stuff that's in really murky water. Like things just come looming out of the dark. Noooooo thank you!

Oh and moby is definitely still in the pond and someone found him with a mini sub drone and put the footage on KZbin.

Ever since that video released I’ve been wondering why the animatronic was left in the pond. I been doing research for ages and I think it’s possible that the animatronic WAS removed from the pond at some point. Which begs the question, HOW THE HELL IT END UP BACK IN THE POND????

2:06 for those curious In the Carlo Callodi's 1883 book, it was originally a giant Dogfish nicknamed "The Attila of fish and fisherman" but Disney changed it into a whale because is was difficult to animate the Dogfish enormous size (the book said it was bigger than a mountain and 5 full story building's)

Wish that we could find the documentary about Lucy. I remember watching it when it aired and being so terrified/intrigued by the animatronic. If I remember correctly, they had to make two Lucy’s because the first one was too heavy and dragged the divers down when they first tested it in the water - unfortunately, one of the divers even had a medical emergency because they surfaced too quickly. It was all caught on film and I remember being so distressed by the image. But luckily they got to the diver and quickly helped him out of the water. 😭

This isn’t really an animatronic- and it’s not submerged in water.. but at the “Loveland Living Planet Aquarium” in Utah there’s multiple statues of different sea creatures around the building. But by far the scariest one (to me) is the Giant Squid & Sperm Whale sculptures you see if you look above you after exiting the penguin area into the deep sea area where the jelly fish are located. The lighting is super eerie and It scares me every time I see it even though I know it’s there 😔🐋🦑

I'm not sure what triggered my submechanophobia, to be perfectly honest. I honestly thought that I was the only one who was terrified of submerged animatronics and I was some kind of freak. I was like, that can't be a real phobia. Then I stumbled upon one of your lists and was shocked to see so many people admit to having the fear. Now because of your videos, I have retained my fear, but I have also gained a fascination for submerged animatronics. I wonder if anyone else feels the same.

27:06 technically they’re prehistoric marine reptiles, not dinosaurs. But close enough I guess. They did live during the time of the dinosaurs and went extinct when the dinosaurs went extinct. I just wanted to point that out. I read a lot about dinosaurs because I’m obsessed with them.

Man, who thought up repainting Bert with green skin? The oil leak, made it scariest of all, and l wish they had run with that! Not with oil, just some safe, non-corrosive black hellish liquid. RIP, scary Bunyip Bert.

40:04 Fluffy looked pretty cool from the ground, but from the ride itself all you could see was a stiff fish shape following a very obvious circular track (not only did it not have moving eyes or jaw, but it also didn’t “swim”). The ride doesn’t get anywhere near as close to the pool as the footage makes it look, and the pool was incredibly shallow and the water very clean so you could see all the coins that had fallen out of people’s pockets; but the ride was super fun.

30:57 I really hate this animatronic mainly because of how unrealistic it looks and even its head doesn't smoothly go back down it just de-attaches and bounces

I have to skim lists before I watch so that this damn thing doesn't come out of nowhere. The face and it's movements make my skin crawl in a way that nothing else really can. Imagine being on that ride with no knowledge of the serpent and suddenly this janky, angry and massive face appears out of the darkness and spits dirty water all over you. I hate it.
