Grandpa made japanese flavored meat. His rotisserie was a propane grill to witch he a rigged a motor and spit onto. It's kinda standard now but not in the 60's.

I used to work in a crematorium. It is true that the bodies will make sounds, albeit rarely, but they never scream. The loudest body sound that will ever actually happen sounds more like a sigh, and happens only when the body is moved. Another point to make: they never move. People like to claim bodies sit up on the embalming tables, but that is impossible in every sense of the word. Now, someone in certain stages of rigor mortis will hold their shape when moved. You can rarely get a rolled body to sit up, but rigor mortis is the only thing that can do that. Anyone claiming otherwise is spinning you a tall tale. With 5 years experience in the field, I promise you thats not a real thing. It has never been a real thing. If a body moves on its own, then it isnt dead.

I once knew a firefighter who led a recovery mission of his childhood doctor from a fire. While pulling the guy out, his skin crackled off, and the other firefighters he was leading ran out screaming. He laughed, because this is very common on fire victims apparently.

I actually know what it is like to have a 1) bowel obstruction 2) punctured bowel 3) 8 inches of bowel taken out and resectioned. Had the surgeries 3 days apart. I almost died.

I've never had that happen specifically, but do remember being in at least one or two situations where I was in excruciating pain, and the adults present just didn't take it all that seriously. I mean sure, kids do oftentimes have a tendency to make a big deal out of little things, but at the same time I also believe it's sometimes easy to forget how much weaker of a tolerance kids have to things like pain than adults do, and what to an adult looks like a harmless booboo might feel to a kid like a stab wound.

I worked on the back of a garbage truck for a few years. And the worst days of the year are 6 days after most big family get together holidays. The one I remember the most was a house that instead of turkey and ham. They had a seafood and crab feast and in Florida. After sitting outside inside the trash cans for 6 days in the heat. The bag exploded when I was emptying the bin in my face. It was in my eyes nose and mouth. I 🤮 and went and used the hose on the side of the house to clean up. The route manager was nice enough to get me some clothes to change into. And that doesn’t come close to the person who I had to exhume from his grave when I was a grave digger. Another story for another video.

I’ve been working in a senior home for the past 4 years. Over my years in long term care you come to expect the people your looking after are gonna die. When we have a resident pass away in palliative care we have to usually clean them and prepare their body to be transferred to the funeral home. Over my years I have cleaned a lot of people who have passed recently and I hear that groan and stuff once in a while, it always freaks me out although I know it’s nature.
