i know what the family are going through. my 12 year old has aspergers and adhd, and everyday living is bloody hard, i come home from work and my missus is in constant tears, he has been kicked out of 5 special schools because of his melt downs , and we cant or it feels like there is no help, just keep giving him his medication to cope which doesn't work no matter how many times you tell the doctors. Sorry to bore you all but its also a close subject to my heart.

Wish all the best to your family, Im 20 years old myself and have Aspergers but only got diagnosed when i was 17 so i understand how unfair the school system can be etc. Stay strong! Your child will learn after experience how to cope so much better. Its tough being young with aspergers for sure but with age you mature so much and you find it more as a gift than a ¨handicap¨ Aspergers is a powerful thing once you learn how to master it!

I love cars and detailing cars, modified in particular, that’s my “thing” and always has been since I was little. I started doing some friends cars and my goal is to make it from a hobby to a fully functioning business. I was fortunate enough to work with a friend over the last year in his business but that time has now ended. I called myself A.S. Details because of having ASD. I hope to make it into a proper business over the next few years and be able to say I’ve made something of myself despite the setbacks and areas of life that I struggle with. So doing that on the normal road is probably what the problem is. Unless you're ok Ricky crashing the car with your kid in it I think you're not really grasping the whole thing.
