Thanks for the tour. I had always been fascinated by this gothic wonder of the Pugins since I read about it in "The Victorian Country House". Perhaps I'll make it there one day.

I was a boarder there in the mid 1970s. I didn't appreciate the beauty of the rooms then. Fascinating to see it again!

It’s in a village called Scarisbrick just off the A570 very close to Southport.

As a Scaysbrook I find this video fascinating, so a rip is planned, its only a few hours away

Thank you for your encouraging comments. There is an ‘Open Day’ on the 11th May 2024. I’m not sure if that’s to showcase the school or the hall, or perhaps even both. I’m very fortunate as I only live a mile away from such a beautiful building and park. 🙂
