Flawless and very good pristine sound without being dry, a classic interpretation.

A very nice performance under such pressure. To the competition: you might want to change the title that shows up. The work by Paul Ben-Haim was required for the competition, but this was surely Scarlatti :)

it's a very complex piece but he played it just perfectly, nothing too much or too little at the interpretation. In my opinion

Yes this is good, although Pogorelich is light years better. His video with this piece (= K1) is on KZbin.

I think a pianist can learn this much quicker, the problem of course remains the correct interpretation.

This is the sonata K1. There remains only a very small tribe, of tiny numbers, on the point of extinction, in the remotest part of the world, who still use the ridiculous, anachronistic, pointless and confusing L numbers, and the abominable Longo edition of the complete sonatas.

I have heard others play it with more charm, certainly. Yes, it was not that musical. Of course, Scarlatti pieces should have a firm pulse and the quicker ones sound sparkly and buoyant, but there should be a few breathing (small) spaces which I tend to put in when playing Scarlatti, a composer whose music I love.

Daniel Lee : you are in the wrong channel for a pianist ( man ) the charm is not a personnal question j think you should go on a Dance chanel to see Germain Louvet Principal dancer of Paris-opera , j understand what you mean , for too see is better than listen and more with a dancer you can make two things : to see and to listen , we are very far from Scarlatti
