Hello, I would like to record the sound from the irig Stream Pro directly to my camera GH52. Is there a way or cable where I can connect it. My microphone is connected to the XLR input.

It comes with lightning and USBC so I’m guessing it can connect to cameras. I’ll try it out on mine and report how it goes in my next iRig video

With my setup, I found that depending on the app, like Tik Tok, you won't hear any sound through the headphones until you actaully hit the record button. Some apps just have to be open, so i think a lot of it has to do with which apps are you are using. I think i depends on when the app turns of the micorphone, which then will be able to get sound from the iRig. Just a guess.

Pls how can I connect solo focus rite and V8 live sound card. The V8 doesn't respond. Seems Iam not getting the connection right.

I didn’t understand the red and white where it should be connected to the sound card?

The red and white on the iRig should say L and R and should match L and R going into the instrument’s output.

Hi ! Thank you for your video. I have a ddj flx 4 that I connect to a JBL 110 with the rca cable to an aux-in 3.5. I then want to plug the aux-out of a 3.5 male to rca and then to the Irig but I get no signal. Any idea why ?

Make sure you have the Irig app! I don’t think I mentioned that in the video. You have to record audio or video through the app while it’s all plugged in and the unplug it to view with sound. Might try doing a test run first to make sure it works before recording the performance!

Will using both of these improve the quality of the sound if using for Tiktok or streaming apps as a DJ?

Yes most definitely! The high quality audio will go straight from the instrument/computer into the video and will sound even better with headphones on!

Can I connect my phone to the audio interface without the rig ?

I heard you can do this, but the USBC connection is what connects the Focusrite 4i4 to the computer. So that would work if you’re just doing mic to phone or instruments to phone. But if you want your computer or DAW audio and mics to go into your phone, you’ll need the iRig because it takes up a different port on the interface. If that didn’t make sense, let me know and I can make a video.

It’s more for studio recording. You shouldn’t need it as much for live performances, but you can always plug your computer into the sound system if it’s part of your set

Hi Morgan! Many thanks for your video. I am quite new on these things and a bit lost. I have a DDJ1000 and a MacBook Air and just want to stream for my friends on Twitch. I am checking some videos and have seen that I need an external audio tool like the ones you're showing and OBS. Therefore, may I ask you what I should buy? I just want that the sounds that arrives to my viewers is on top high quality and that if I turn down the master at home that the sound keeps sounding on Twitch. iRig Stream Pro Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th Generation Any other? I will not use my phone as I will have an external camera. Many thanks for your reply :) and your videos :)!

Hello! I don’t do live streaming with a camera. I’ve only done live streaming with my phone. So I’m not completely sure. But my guess is that you should be able to run sounds from your DDJ through the focusrite and into your streaming software, while running the camera as the visuals in the streaming software as well? This setup in my video is specifically for recording or streaming into the phone. So my apologies if I’m incorrect.

@martindejota if you want to stream a DJ set to Twitch, Use the iRig Stream pro - I just got one as going to start doing live DJ sets streamed on Tik Tok etc.

I wonder if there is a way to have a guitar and a mic going into the iRig only (no Focusrite)? I would just want to use one or the other, and the iRig seems less cumbersome than the Focusrite.

You only need the iRig if it’s straight from instrument or DJ deck to your phone. If you’re using a computer, then you’ll need both.

So the sound quality of the irig stream pro not that good when streaming live on tiktok? I use the irig 2 but quality ain't that great, even when you playback.
