I’ll give it to Scarlet Witch even tho I think the Ancient One could put up a decent fight since experience(even though not a guaranteed victory) can play a crucial part in winning a fight and the Ancient One has thousands of years of experience training in the mystic arts, taking power from the dark dimension, and also being the previous Sorcerers Supreme but Scarlet Witch is just too powerful to where experience is not doing anything to a character who is vastly more powerful than you. Doctor Strange has far surpassed the Ancient One and Doctor Strange was actively running away from Scarlet Witch in MOM so the clear victor is obvious.

She was able to bring her brother back to life easily. Also she was able to kill someone just by touching them who had a bit of the phenoixs power. The other stones give immense power to the holder tho. Thanos was only using the space stone to block her attack. When Thanos puts a stone in his glove he absorbs some kind of energy from them therefore making him stronger. Wanda was able to hold him back with 5 stones enhancing him, while using the space stone to block it. All while she was blasting a hole through her lovers head containing the mind stone. Pretty impressive if you ask me

For her time with the avengers she only displayed a growth in telepathic and telekinetic feats because she only trained those powers, not realizing she possessed chaos magic. Similar to her progression in the comics. She only recently attained a true understanding of her powers and only had a brief time with the Darkhold before destroying it, meaning she couldn't memorize it's spells. It was obvious she was overpowered from the jump when she stopped a runaway train, broke through vibranium, disintegrated Ultron bots, manipulated an entire town to evacuate, mind warped nearly all the avengers, and more all In her first appearance. Every movie gives characters a boost from off screen training and discovering more about their powers. The MCU is handling this version of Wanda wonderfully tbh.

I feel like ancient one in the MCU would not stand a chance if she lost to Kaecillius. Dr. Strange just has way more of an arsenal of spells than the ancient one has shown, with the ancient one focusing on mirror dimension and eldritch constructs while Strange with serpentine hydra hands, crimson bands of cyttorak, illusions/duplication, etc. One way to overpower a being who's more powerful than you is quite simply just outsmarting and having more tricks. Wanda could survive the mirror dimension and even influence the original dimension through it, even move her body while astral projecting and summon monsters that had a Dr. Strange variant literally die. Tbh, they should have built Wanda's power up and not just give her sudden jumps of power like that. Every single appearance she gets she exponentially powers up. She couldn't even contain an explosion for a long period of time but now she's surviving blasts from Captain Marvel and survived through the mirror dimension effortlessly and escaped without a sling ring. Edit: I forgot to consider the control of gravity and terrain on the mirror dimension, but if Spiderman was able to manipulate terrain to some extent, I think Wanda could as well. Her levitation would already nullify most of the terrain manipulation, and she can just use her telekinesis on the ancient one without releasing a hex bolt that would bounce.

Wanda has access to the outside world even within the mirror dimension and can summon someone to let her out or even grab a sling ring. Ancient one can put up a fight though, and much more with her connection to the dark dimension in the mirror dimension.

Scarlet Witch is basically Thanos with all stones + Max Power Dr Strange + The Ancient One + Dormammu + etc.. Her magic is far beyond anything else we have seen in the MCU. She doesnt need speed or strength or durability because her magic easily compensates for her lack of physicality. She can do anything the Infinity Stones can do and more. If we saw realistic fighting, no plot armor stuff, there is no being in the MCU that could even draw blood.

I think it’s close. Wanda has chaos and darkhold, but ancient one has dark dimension and time stone. In the end, I think ancient one wins bc she can look through time like she and strange did before to figure out how to beat Wanda. Also, If ancient one can find the vishanti book then I think she wins since vishanti balance out darkhold and she still has experience, power of dark dimension and time stone. For people who said Wanda destroy a bunch of Sorcerer, so can ancient one. Remember that with the power from the dark dimension, kacilius was able to destroy the sanctums and since ancient one is more powerful than him and only died bc of plot device, she could do the same to those sorcerers, she just don’t want to.

Saying Spiderman "beat" Dr.Strange is not accurate at all. Dr.Strange was not fighting to hurt or kill Peter.. he was just trying to get the box. It was almost like a bigger brother fighting their smaller brother.. but their little brother suprising them with something. Edit: Also, just because someone is more "powerful" doesn't necessarily mean they automatically just win... Look at Strange vs Dormammu.. Dormamu is infinite times more powerful then Strange.. but Strange beat him from ingenuity and spells. I feel like yes... Scarlet Witch is more powerful then Ancient one... but this is the Ancient one we're talking about. Her experience , cunning , intelligence , spells , ingenuity , and yes even her power make her such a huge threat. I think Scarlet Witch is more powerful.... but Ancient One finds a way to win.
