People like me... we think we're facing obstacles in our life. And perhaps we are. But few of us are facing the harrowing extremes which you are facing. Hi Scar it’s been 5 years. A couple months ago I got in a bad car accident where I was electrocuted by a power line. I spent 29 days in the hospital and had seven surgeries (lost my big toe lol), and I’m not gonna lie it was one of the harder things I’ve ever done. I came back here because I remembered how in the video it seems like even though you just went though what could have been horrible, you lived, you’re okay, and you’re happy going forward with what’s next. Me too Scar, Season 2 of Life is in progress. Thanks for giving me someone to look up to. Love you man

I’m several years late, and I don’t know if you’ll see this but I hope so. You are such an inspiration... I wish I could be as positive as you. I just can’t seem to do it, but your videos do help. I had my first surgery at 18 years old, and I had to have another surgery around 10 months later, then another 11 months later. I never recovered from my first surgery, my body rejected my stitches and it kept opening. Eventually, on my final surgery they decided to leave my huge wound completely open. They had to pack my wound, I don’t know who is familiar with this... but it’s just awful. I was bed ridden for most of those couple years, and I’m still so weak physically because of it. I’m mostly recovered, but I’m not where I was before. To keep it as short as I can... how do you recover from surgery mentally? I’ve been depressed ever since my surgery. It’s been years. It completely changed me. I don’t feel like the person I used to be. It detailed my entire life. I just want to be normal again. I was pursuing the military before my surgery, and I’m actually still eligible if I can get my strength up. I’m just not there mentally anymore though. My whole life plans were just ruined by surgery, not to mention the surgery was tougher than it thought been because of negligence. How to I get over this? I used to be positive even for my first surgery, but by my third one I lost hope. I’m not confident anymore, I have anxiety that I didn’t have before, I see negativity in everything that happens to me, I just don’t know how to be happy anymore. I have things to be happy about, but I can’t get over this.
