wow!!....i grew up there, lived at 48 church lane and walked through the high school fields. i see that you drove up post road, i lived there with my family from 69 until about 77 and the only thing i would change today aside from bringing back some of the old stores in the village would be that i would make it alot less crowded than it is today. i went to fox meadow elementary and scarsdale jr. high although i understand they've renamed it. the other thing i really mis and this was something that haunted me for decades, i really miss the sound of those old diaphones that would be set off every time there was a fire. while we lived there i recall being out walking in brewster field just across wayside and church lane and i would hear the diaphones going off in the distance....it was kinda spooky!!! and god save me if i ever heard them going off at night!!!....that sound haunted me then and up until about 2 years ago when i e-mailed the scarsdale fire department. it took them a few minutes to figure out what i was looking for but they were able to put a name to the sound and since then i found a few video's right here on youtube with diaphones going off. sorry for talking your ear off, scarsdale n.y. is my most favorite place on the planet and although i have been able to walk through it a handful of times over the last 50 years i still would love to be back in our old big back yard enjoying a family cook-out on a really great summer day. SCARSDALE.................10583 BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does this lovely city offer in the way of medical services, e.g., hematology oncology? And other forms of cancer that seem to target senior citizens?

The KEY to living in ANY wealthy community like Scarsdale is to 1) a college degree in engineering, accounting / finance, chemistry OR 3 years of law school or 4 years of medical school. 2) Earn a $200,000. + income. 3) Then you can afford a million dollar house in Scarsdale.

@@kathylakowitz Rich parents help :) . Yes, to all else. Dad was an economist. So, if you're good, that applies, too. I don't meet requirements but live in a decent area.
