What is wrong with people...here is a basic lesson in economics...When there are price caps it makes essential goods less accessible...why? Because the government-enforced price doesn't reflect the market forces of supply and demand. By keeping prices artificially low, demand is increased to the point where supply cannot keep up, leading to shortages in the price-controlled product. And, as a business owner...why would we produce more of the product....for a lower price...WHEN MY COST TO PRODUCE THE PRODUCT DIDN'T GO DOWN!!!! I would loose profits...may have to cut staff...which means what...someone has lost their job because the government dictated the price of the goods I make and/or sell.

The housing market is starting to get flooded with inventory. We are looking to buy another home and prices are coming down. The problem: investors will scoop up inventory once is start's to deflate and rent prices will go up. The REITS are a problem because they are beholden to their shareholders. If you watch Bar Rescue John sometimes comes across as a hard nose bully to the bar owners who are driving their bar into the gutter. Based on this interview, the man is a genius and knows what he's talking about. Trump has been accused of being a bully, but his policies are sound, and they were proven in his first term. Maybe instead of thinking of the hard driving guys as bullies, we should just consider their style as "tough love" to open everyone's eyes to get the job done right.
