I did see a doctor. Got checked out and everything seemed normal. Got an x-ray on my wrist as well. Mild headaches still throughout the day, but that's pretty normal at this stage. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened to me. Ride safe!

I was never able to get anyone’s name that helped me and the track didn’t share it. I’m very grateful for everyone’s help that day. Could have been a lot worse! Even the track owner gave me a ride to my truck on his quad. No idea who actually brought my bike back.

You can’t choke on your tongue or swallow it but yes. It can block your air and make it difficult to breathe. 👍🏻

It is impossible to swallow your own tongue. A simple google search could tell you that if you dont want to take my word for it. Or if you happen to know any EMTs, nurses, or doctors they will tell you the same.

Got everything checked out and thankfully my head is fine. Just suffered a pretty bad concussion and messed up my wrist. It’s taking longer than expected to heal but I’m back out there!

A while back I went for a ride on my own on a track not far from home. From what I can tell, I over rotated when I took a jump and landed almost vertically on the rear. I don't remember getting the key for the bike, the next thing I remember was opening my eyes and seeing fluorescent lights flash past as I was wheeled down the hospital corridor. I had a major concussion and a dislocated shoulder but somehow I managed to take off my helmet and walk to the neighbors farm.

must be crazy waking up when you were just riding your dirt bike hope your okay must be crazy! My brother crashes riding his dirt bike he only a broke a finger but still was badly bruised. Sadly it was on some public place and a other dirt biker riding hit his bike and fell. Thankfully he landed in mud which soften the landing, but there both ok!

Not telling this cos i think I'm too cool more like a tool but after maybe 3-4 ko's from racing jumping etc and a few too many broken bones I'm over hospitals and ko'd myself round 8weeks ago and was out for 16 mins got it all on camera that's how i know how long.. I was out for "casual" solo trailride (yep part 1 of my stupidity) luckily a mate came picked me and bike up concussed and throwing up every few minutes for an hour or so but besides ko felt ok so went home stayed awake as long as possible then slept to wake up feeling like I'd damaged neck at base of skull which also wasnt good but most ridiculous thing of all i never ended up getting to hospital (absolute twat) and still can't sleep more than few hours before waking to think my heads in a vice and lost maybe a quarter of movement when i turn head side to side. Like i said not proud or gloating I'm a dkhd and am embarrassed/disgusted with myself so I'm saying don't be me if you do get ko'd make sure go get ct scan etc.. All because i didn't want to sit in hospital for hours as you generally do after a ko while the staff keep eye on you in case of more serious head trauma.. seriously stupid on my behalf.. sorry rant over but please don't be me
