Dr. Siddhartha talking about 3D Printing is amazing..researchers have been working for over 20 years in a field known as 3D Bioprinting, where they are using human cells to build organs.. fews years down the line we will probably be able to build a fully functional transplantable human organ! The best part is there is a lot of research happening in India in a domain like this which needs more recognition.. I do too belong to this domain! We are trying to build Human Skin in the lab with a vision to one day be able to help burns victims, acid attack survivors and people with various skin diseases!!

There's a lot of Indian scientific breakthroughs that we're lagging information on here. India's foray into stem cell regenative medicine began way back in the early 2000s. Dr. Virender Sangwan is the pioneering figure who gave thousands of Indians their sight back through corneal stem cell regeneration in 2004. He is now working on a technology to create artificial cornea using 3D printing technology. He is definitely an amazing contender for your podcast.
