whoa i just realized this. the code 1408 is actually a reference to a movie called "1408" where a guy goes to a haunted hotel room to prove the room isn't haunted. then all kinds of crazy terrible shit happens to him. the interesting thing is that the movie has 2 endings - in one the guy dies, and in the other ending the guy survives. this is exactly what happens in this game - one guy who goes in this happy birthday room dies and the other survives. this is such a clever reference by the game developers, i love it!

The main reason people try to use it point blank is that the bonus effect is that if all pellets hit one head it's an instant kill, which is the most efficient way to kill Molded and vital for Madhouse difficulty.

I am enjoying watching this but man, Jesse has been giving some pretty terrible advice. Davis suggested going back to use the lockpicks and to switch the shotguns and Jesse kept shooting him down. Why is he against backtracking in a game that heavily rewards backtracking? Now its too late to go back. I'm sure they'll manage, but its not going to be easy.

The problem with that, is that despite Jesse calling himself a loot whore, he is literally the worst at finding anything in every game he plays. He doesn't search thoroughly, he just wastes time wandering aimlessly. He misses so much shit, he overlooks obvious clues. I hope the self-proclaimed loot whore title is meant to be ironic because his level of incompetence is honestly embarrassing. He's so awful that he forces the rest of the Scary Games Squad to play WORSE just to stroke his own ego as the "leader". If he had just let Davis try out his ideas they would have so much more stuff at this point in the game.

Well she also took a job involving torturing a child, I think that the case that she's not a good person is much better than "she cut my hand off!". And no ending's really "good". Zoe likely dies in both no matter what (either she's Eveline food or likely starves to death), and both Ethan and Mia stay infected or Mia dies as well. And when Eveline's out of the picture, guess who becomes next in the hive mind's hierarchy? The Hive King who didn't take any serum.
