Hey Hector… when you’re travelling with someone vision impaired … you’re supposed to stick with them, particularly if traversing such dangerous terrain. You can’t walk off and leave him to fall , you have to stay with him and guide him .. because he can’t see the traps and pitfalls like you can. James you should have explained to him that he needed to be your guide through the rough terrain. Glad you made it with minimal injury, how’s the leg feeling, man that was scary, I was genuinely worried for you.

Also, James, as you & Dustin were talking about the bodies that are buried at the top of that mound there, and how they were gotten up there, I also had this thought, and it rooted off of when you James brought up the idea of Horses being used to bring the bodies up the mound/mountai/hill/whatever, for what it's worth, if animals were used at all it likely wasn't Horses doing the work it was likely either Donkeys or Mules carrying the bodies, and I say this for 2 reasons, One being that Donkeys and Mules are pack animals more so than Horses are, and can handle the heavier weights better than Horses can, but Secondly because Donkeys & Mules both are far more sure-footed than Horses are and are naturally better adapted for climbing up and down those slopes than Horses are. Hope that helps out a bit on that question.

James I'm glad that y'all checked out stump house... There is also near the parking lot on a trail leading down to the waterfall... a very interesting story about the waterfall and a native American woman.... I've been coming to some house ever since I was a little boy and I'm 60 years old now.... James there's another place that's in North Carolina it's called Brown mountain lights very mysterious things going on there really need to check this out you definitely won't regret it. Also I've been all the way to the back of the tunnel several times also on top and look down in those holes that go down in the tunnel. Also there's the other part of the tunnel that can be reached by foot see they were going to meet with the two tunnels in the middle.
