It's funny because despite consuming an embarrassing about of Slash content I avoided this one forever, on purpose. And in the end I was like ok, I guess I will watch this boring looking thing. Never met slash, but in a nuts way, consider him a friend. Being severely disabled, I had my first of many major surgeries in 1993. I was so into GNR at this point that I wore out a tape twice in hospital. Since then the solo stuff and VR have been absolutely rinsed whilst in recovery from loads of spinal surgery. The inspiration to pick a guitar up has been good. I have lost feeling in my arms twice and effectively had to learn from scratch twice. Obviously there has to be a lot of inspiration to do this rather than give up...I got a lot from slash music!
