At first I had some confusion about this being the *Conan Doyle* story' but, the length is much shorter so it told me it was a different one. *Clarke* certainly has his own unique style; interesting none the less. Stunning art work & that opening scenic has the most beautiful yellow & orange mix of colors ...I want to drink it. All the art images on this vid are perfect in design & shading w/ the scary ones being just that ... scary good. *Maybe* the main character deserved what he earned🤔 I think this is one of the more interesting Clarke stories for me *Good one Huw & TY*

Of the two of Clarke's that are on the channel, I personally prefer 'A Walk in the Dark' but this one has a much more sinister premise.

I am really glad you had the chance to hut this one down, because I feel it is a very rewarding tale. I have loved Arthur C. Clarke since my boyhood. I have put another of my favourites of his stories on here; 'A Walk in the Dark' - a personal favourite of mine.

I am glad you have had the chance to discover it. I first came across this story as a young teen, when the 'read everything in the house' phase gripped me. It was in a short story collect by Arthur C. Clark that I still own to this day. I felt I just *had* to do this one, along with the other tale by Clarke in the same book, which I also loved that is also on the channel.

I have had a listen to this one again and yes, i agree - my American accent in this one is terrible.
