It's a shame that truck drivers don't use the cb radio as we did back in the day, there are so many times in this video, where semi trucks could have blocked the path and came to a stop, so the officers could arrest that nut case, but that was then and this is now unfortunately, I'm glad nobody was injured in this pursuit, God Bless all the Officers involved. 🙂

This is all the governments fault, truckers are only allowed 14 hours of driving time before having to shut down for 8 hours. The clock stays going no matter what the situation. So a lot of long haul truckers are not gonna help out anymore.

I was driving back from strausburg,va from a cousins wedding. So once i hit I95 coming south i was cruising at 120mph. Some douche in a corvette was right behind me. I was going through Sc when the woods median opened up to a clearing to see two Sc highway patrol drivers window to drivers window. I never lifted, mr corvette was all over the brakes. I saw blue lights from the median in to the fast lane which is where i was. Corvette dude jumped into slow lane. I saw blue lights coming up the fast lane then dove into slow lane and mr corvette i think had a bad time. I didn't slow down until Georgia which wasn't that far away

Nowadays, people just get in pursuits with ASP, knowing they'll be on KZbin. Something to tell the Grandkids about, I guess. ASP (Arkansas State Police), aka, Always Staying in Pursuits. Lol. Stay safe out there, Troopers. Keep up the outstanding job!!!!.

I'm kinda surprised they don't have a non pursuit law above certain speeds like a handful of other states do. A good bit of these clips from ASP I've noticed end in crashes and sometimes involving other motorists, which is what other states are aiming to prevent by limiting pursuits.

I just saw this video yesterday on another channel dedicated to AR police dept's. The trooper we were riding with was in a Tahoe, and it didn't have the PIT bar up front. I recently heard a ASP LT say that their Chargers used to top out at 151 and now most are governed to 130 top end. The car that blew by the trooper we were riding with may simply have been a Charger that would still do 151 seeing as it wasn't an ASP car.

@ 404nitro They have regular Chargers. That was a Scat Pack. Not sure what Audi it was. Not a real good one judging by the exhaust tips. I don’t think it was an S4.

Still 151mph is not enough to catch most European cars especially if they have been mildly modified like with a remap, most of the higher spec Euro cars will do 200mph from the factory without any mods.

It’s the other way around. Early LX cars non-SRT8 Hemi’s were limited to 131mph. At some point into the 2nd Gen LX cars some 5.7 PPVs had limiters raised to 150+, while others remained at 131. It depends on which agency it is. Some don’t want officers doing more than 130 no matter what. More likely rural and Hwy agencies will allow 150+. That Charger while flying by seriously sounded nasty, and I have the same engine in my Magnum, but doesn’t sound like that factory. That might actually have been a Scatpack acquired from a baddie and then converted for cop duty. Bad ass for sure . And an Audi S4 will blow right past 150mph, that is a badass car. As far as “most” Euro high end cars being able to do 200mph, define “most”, maybe a “handful”, and at that, very, very few sedans, that’s why the Hellcat Charger being able to do 202 was a HUGE DEAL. If anyone can name one other 4 door that does 202mph from the factory, first back it up but definitely let us know. And for what it’s worth, when I first got my Magnum RT brand new in 2006, I parked near a South Carolina Highway Patrol Charger at an event I was working. The first police Charger I had seen in person, and it had the bigger wheels than my car. On closer inspection, it had SRT8 on the trunk, also the Brembos, and the different front and rear bumper covers. And the SRT8 seats, but with column shifter and all the rest, caged back seat, etc. I asked the dude about it. Big dude about my age. I asked if it was stupid fast. He said, “stupid ain’t the word for it. I don’t care what you’ve got, I’ll reel you in like that!” as he snapped his fingers. Never seen another one. It had the rear wing removed, I guess to be more low profile, and that thing probably slowed it down on the top end anyway, and it had plastic plugs where the holes had been. And the roof lights were really low profile before I had seen that on other car yet, but later were standard. Bad. Ass.

Some trucks are limited to 62, some at 65, mine is at 66, some are 70, some are not limited at all. And its the middle of the night. Normally they dont have to worry about a 130 mph pursuit coming by them 😂

Well, although it probably won't happen due to obvious reasons like graphic incidents, we're still pretty close to it.

I'm so glad these officers finally got the driver of that car after racing down a busy highway consistently at 130+ mph, endangering a hundred or more innocent lives on both sides of the road for more than 20 minutes, after definitely having recorded the license plate on the back of that Audi. From all these recent ASP pursuits where they are in a Ford (Explorer), it's looking like they went with the slower 3.3 engine because had they gone to the 3.0 ecoboost, no way the Charger would've passed them because of struggling to keep up.
