Happy fourth Mike, on that six battery charger unit go grab a can of Brasso and a acid brush. Work it well into the contacts, with a spray bottle of water, with the unit upside down or better yet unscrew it and clean it that way from the bottom. Easy $50 I’ve been watching your scavenging for about a year. i’m in my mid-70s and a retired mechanical and electrical engineer. I love watching what you pick up and think that the items are I recognize probably 95 to 98% of the items. 25 year old history at a Children’s Hospital as the rehab engineer manager. The vacuum pumps that you uncover make excellent refrigeration evacuation pumps. All you need is the gauges and Wala an easy hundred dollars! pool acid and rust gone and 30 seconds. Coat with WD-40 and you have a perfectly working item. HAPPY SCAVENGING

Happy 4th of July Mike. I enjoy watching your videos and suggested to my female friend to watch them and she enjoys them also pierhead we love your jovial comments and like to watch what people throw away in the trash that could be recycled. I have a comment for when you're doing your coverage of what you collected when you're doing it on the back of the truck. Maybe you could consider putting your camera on something that's not on your body. A lot of times when you're looking around and showing all the different things it gets rather dizzy looking. If the camera wasn't on you but back enough where you could see everything you're doing it might make for a better shot. Just to comment

Question for you Mike. The central air units. They are aluminum copper rads. You cut the copper noodles off the outside of them. Then pull the steel plate off. That's a clean ACR. Did I hear you right, that your scrap yard don't buy them? Up here in Pennsylvania. We get good money for clean ACR's. If they don't buy them. You are getting screwed over on good money. Just wanted to let you know. Love your videos. Glad to see that you scrap out everything. Just like I do. Stay safe and keep em coming.

immerse rusted iron pieces (like the hammer you showed) in vinegar, salt, liquid soap solution for about 4-5 days. Every spec of rust will go away, looks brand new and you can just spray paint it and use it for years.

Dang Mike, you're the hardest working man I've seen in a long time. There's nothing you won't do for some extra money and content for your videos, jumping in the nastiest dumpsters and lifting items that should take at least two grown men. Heck, you work harder in an afternoon than my husband does all month! And he makes bank as a blackjack dealer, and whines if he has to work his entire 8 hour shift (with a half hour break every two hours) 🙄 life isn't fair, or you and the girls would be living in your dream home on some acreage. Enjoy the 4th, and cuddle with the little ones that don't like the celebration nearly as much as the humans do. Cheers 🍻 I 💙 MTS! 🐼💪🧦🐶🐶

That’s a shame that they won’t buy the evaporator cores I’ve got a a/c unit that needs to be cleaned. The thieves ruined it for the honest people out there. It’s the same here with big a/c but you can scrap a window until with no problem. I do a little scrapping myself. But the prices are low yet here in Alabama. Keep up the good work and have a blessed weekend mike

That bigger electric motor you could break down in less than 10 mins and end up with close to 2lbs #2, some prepared steel, and aluminum. Definetly worth the little bit of extra time.
