I think that's the joke, this guy actually makes the effort of doing everything himself yet because he's so focused on the work and not building his image, no one knows who he is (something that pisses him off) also probably because he doesn't leave anyone alive or kills everyone before they know what's happening so he has no reputation, it was this moment that finally helped him understand how to properly be a crime boss hence the "You've given me a lot to think about" line at the end, and it's after this scene he starts being more well known cos he actually took James Franco's advice 😂
