For all those who think that this scene has sexual connotations, yes, in terms of Alejandro's positioning and his attitude of dominance, but only up to that point. This is not only absurd, the prisoner is not gagged and therefore can bite, but also because, even if he were gagged, it would not be a very effective technique. It's the use of water as a method, when we see the other operative is constantly hydrating him. With his bladder full of liquid, when it is pressed, the sensation of pain and discomfort is considerable. Alejandro also brings a gallon of water to reinforce the association, and to use it at a given moment to force him to continue drinking water in a much less delicate way.

That was an interesting scene. I took from it that, alone in the room with the captive, no information was gleaned, whatever occurred in there. However, that interrogation was the perfect way to cover the actual source of the helpful information he obtained from his former colleague and friend, quite coincidentally, when they met in the hall. by this, he boosts his effectiveness in the eyes of the US, blames the info on a flipped cartel family member, and knows his discretion is appreciated by the Mexican authorities. Or am i reading too much into it?
