The firefighters are overwhelmed and bushfire fighting is not about “putting out the fire” but about containing it and letting it burn itself out. It sucks but that’s how it is. There are no firefighters or police because the area is under evacuation. it’s not salvageable and you’re not risking your life to save property when it reaches a certain threshold. By filming - yes you’re doing a service to others when they watch this, but it’s not worth your life. Many Australian “watchers” who try to film disasters have died in their cars because in high winds, just a falling tree across the road can trap you and you can’t escape the raging fire that kills you in less than a minute because the superheated air removes all the oxygen from the air. One minute you’re in your car trying to escape, and within 60 seconds you’re dead and burned in your car. it happens that fast. Most fire deaths are people dying in their cars trying to evacuate at the last minute, rather than in their actual homes. Evacuate early - or risk dying - Australians have learned this the hard way through countless fires, but we all take warnings seriously now. We also don’t look around and film fires as they spread. Unfortunately, Americans will have to learn this the hard way too.

One of the problem of this scenario is they had ordered to evacuate the area ...instead of doing some help by cooling and spraying water to their individual home cause their were only few fire men and water trucks...so naturally fires can not be put out at once and spead wide area......wrong moves..hmm
