Scenic visual approach at Toulon/Hyères

N°2 for the approach behind the 8 Alpha Jets of the Patrouille de France, our A320 first flies overhead the field at 10000 ft before entering a left downwind leg over the Giens peninsula and the Hyères islands. Has to be the aviation video with the most boats in it !

Great video Captain, thanks for filming and uploading to YT. There's quite a lot of turns in that approach, nice airport too, wonder how well FSX models it, not well I guess.

super ! on voit bien les iles et le traffic maritime ! le vol de la fin d'aprem 502 ! les arbres le long de la piste ont été rasés cet automne !

@YMBatal No, there was a Super Puma hovering above the secondary runway You can see it taxying to the military apron when we finally turned on this runway.

Schlomo mon ami ! On ne "déconne" pas avec la blague de Toto qui fait caca : elle fait partie de nos Check lists. Quant à s'engueuler, ça n'est pas la norme... mais ça s'est déjà vu.
