@@captaintoyota3171 That and they also don't always like being told what to do even when it's just following the posted rules. Used to be a range I frequented where I ended up getting a guy banned because he wouldn't listen to me about the range rules, because I was younger than him and a girl (he made those points very clear when telling me to fuck off when I tried to point out the range safety rules he was breaking). It was just a simple issue of 'get back behind the line when the range is clear'. I couldn't just not say something, because I knew the range master and was a regular so if I just let be, I'd have been at fault as well if some accident happened. And it was a fancy state-funded range, so the rules were posted on steel signs at every bench and even on the cards you had to fill out when you came in.
@richardcline13373 жыл бұрын
@@Morgan_SandovalI'm really surprised those steel signs weren't looking like sieves....you know they have a very nasty habit of attacking great "hunters". The difference is that real hunters know the difference between game and signs.
@willb30183 жыл бұрын
When I was growing up in Western PA, I lived in the country and there were hunters everywhere, many of whom either couldn't read or chose not to. My next door neighbor, himself an avid hunter, had built himself a little shooting range of about 100 yards for practice and sighting in new scopes etc . Whenever he detected hunters on his property too close to the house he never confronted them but instead decided it was time to sight in one of his rifles. That kept the illiterate/inconsiderate at bay. When you are "sighting in" your rifles almost daily, they are likely to be very accurate. 😂

Hey Scott, I have a suggestion. In the hut right before where the apartment begins would it not be advisable to build something like a stopper which could stop the vehicles from accidentally ramming into the apartment. While anyone driving in may take all precautions, but god forbid a mechanical failure, air brake failure leads to any vehicle overshooting into the apartment. You may think about adding a foot high concrete or rubber stopper running the width of the hut before the apartment. Don

Those air shifters are notorious for getting dirt and muck inside the shifter itself and they're very very particular so if you keeps having that problem have him pull the shifter apart clean it out replace the o-rings make sure that there's no dirt collected in there because as soon as it gets dirt or water of any kind in it it will not shift you'll have to go out there with a hammer and or a pry bar and pry it back and forth and tap it in and out and it's a pain so if it's hanging down real low and it's picking up water and dirt from the from the road you might want to build a shield to keep it from getting dirt all up in it

You might as well remove the trees that are in between your Quonset hut and the driveway, there root ball has been compacted by both the fill from both the driveway and the fill on he side of your building. The dirt compaction over the drip line/root ball from one side would be enough to have arborist or forester to highly recommend you remove those trees but dirt compaction over basically the entire drip line of the tree / root ball almost surely guarantees that trees are unlikely to survive. My girlfriends brother is arborist/tree surgeon and watched a couple videos that you did of your property and told me you should check with you local county or state forester about seeing if they would be willing to walk your property and do a survey of trees they think should be removed and ones that should stay for the general health of all the trees on property.

Just an FYI EMD locomotives generally have 2 fuel filters mounted just before the fuel intake but unlike GMC coaches have 2 glass bowls mounted upside down on top of the filter assembly. The outer filter is the primary and the inner one which is closer to the engine block is the secondary filter. When doing your pre trip inspection in addition to checking the oil and coolant levels you look at the glass bowls on top of the filter assembly and if the primary is full that indicates the fuel filter is plugged and must be replaced which is easy as they are screw on filters. Thought you might find it interesting. I’m thinking it’s a shame you couldn’t install a filter assembly from a scrap yard onto a fuel system in a bus to give the owner some warning when his filters get plugged up. Keep having fun Scott . Food for thought

What a nice bus that Scenicruiser is. As far as I know, not a single unit made it to Europe. Lots of yellow school buses, even a few GM’s like yours, at least one is over here in Holland. Point is how long the EU is allowing them on the road. We fear that in a few years from now our museum buses will be on static display only which will undoubtedly mean the end of most of them, certainly the duplicates. Greetings from Hekelingen, Holland. So mom put us on a bus in Bangs. Tx - San Angelo, transferred to a Scenic Cruiser all the way to Van Horn. We arrived in the little small town of Van Horn at 4 A.M. Dad was no where in site. However, twenty plus Mexican men were loitering on the sidewalk as two white kids stepped off the bus. Kinda scary! However, I’ve never forgot the wonder of traveling on such an iconic bus. I'd assume miss-aligned, worn/stretched/junk belts was the original cause of them jumping off. yeah adding a keeper guide will help them not do that, but f the inner or middle decided to move towards the back and they overlap each other, it will be very bad outcome. also not enough tension at 8:24 the adjusters (idler and tensioner both) were all out of whack there, which is also why the belts were so low as to be hitting the radiator hoses.

When maneuvering or turning around in a short lot like that you should be turning the wheels only when they're rolling slightly it makes it much easier on the suspension parts keeps it in alignment by sitting in one spot and turning the wheels also makes potholes in your driveway cuz the rain loosens that spot up. That's right 🧐
