I bought a tester of Tresor after first learning about the Grojsman accord. I swear I smelled it before, maybe on a teacher as a kid or in a Boots in the 90s

The things I'm really working on are downstairs in the lab. Upstairs I'm generally setting up for events, so there are either lots of my fragrances, or diluted materials, or both.

For the life of me, I can't smell galaxolide. 😫

You are not alone. Many people can't smell a variety of musks because the molecules are so big they go off the scale, like infra red light or dog whistles. BUT! Just see what happens when you add it to something, feel the softness if gives. I can't smell Hedione.

@Sarah McCartney oh I can smell hedione. It's divine. Though when I do the Grojsman accord all I can smell is the ionone. Which I love it in the air but not up close.

I think the ionone takes over. I would reduce the proportion in the accord.
