Scenthusiasm: WHAT WE MEAN BY TEXTURE IN PERFUME

I realise that I keep talking about the texture of fragrance materials, and this is a cross-modalism thing. After working with aromatics for a while - depending on how much practice we put in - they start to feel soft or smooth, rough or pointy, deep, light, fluffy, thick or fine, and many other things. That's what we mean. When you smell your materials, how do they feel?

Un Mendiant = It's melted chocolate (sometimes over a biscuit more often on its own) with tons of stuff on top like nuts and candied/dried fruits.

Very interesting watching small children build with blocks. 🧱 Without a definition of success or failure they could sit there for ages, but the moment they've convinced themselves that they're incapable, the tantrums begin. At the very least, blocks go flying. 🤭 It's the feeling I get when I smell many spikey, nose-burning woody ambers. 🤬
