Its refreshing seeing fragrances that are so unknown for the standard fragrance community. Im tired of le male or sauvage... This video makes me keep continuing my goal of building a discontinueds fragrances. This year i bought jaïpur, eau de rochas and moschino forever. The next ones are the dreamer and dior homme (the classic one)

I recently blind bought Ted Lapidus Pour Lui based on your review and your vanilla pancakes comparison. I have to say I think it is the best blind buy I've ever made in a collection of over a hundred bottles. Truly excellent scent by Maurice Roucel and only $25.

Howdy Chris. My name is Mark from Iceland and I'm generally speaking disappointed with modern day frags. What I need is a strong, masculine, spicy, herbal green fragrance that lasts 2 days. (citric chypre, aromatic fougere) Vintages often deliver on this level (well, 24 hours, anyways) so here's my question: if I were to look into vintages, where would be the best place to start looking? And where can I get samples/decants of vintages? ☺ Thanks so much, Mark

Well, its not an easy question. I have several sources. Some are online ( like Enchante Perfumes in Toronto or Henry Perfumes in Singapore or even some local Hungarian sites) and some are local or regional shops. Also of course ebay sometimes. Not easy anyway, requires a lot of digging.

Nd some very good choices, i really like the lagerfeld pour homme, i only have 2 small 4,5 ml, but i will get a big bottle, once they are empty. by the way, Budapest is my absolute favorite city , and i will go there again this summer, do you know any really good fragrance shops in this amazing city? Hi there. Cool fragrance choice! I am not a major fan of Budapest I just happen to live here. My favorite cities are Dublin, New York and Paris. What sort of fragrances are you aiming for? Designer? Discontinued designer? Maybe niche?

@@scentland4753 Interesting, i can't figure out whats not to like about that amazing city, but maybe it's like some other places, that are great to visit, but not that great to live in. Discontinued designer would be great, last summer i was also a few days in Vienna, and visit the "Le Visage" thanks to your video, and ending up buying 3 fragrances, what a fragrance heaven. Fragrance shops in Poland would also be good, thats also i country i visit now and then. I have never been to Dublin, New York or Paris, but i think i will consider Dublin. Kind regards.

You are right. Budapest has a great setting but the local overall attitude and way of thinking/living is not something I am happy with. Le Visage is heavenly, we will go there in May again!! Dublin is fun, not very beautiful but it has a vibe that makes me love it. I lived and worked there for 4 years.

@@scentland4753 Okay, thats not something i have seen as a tourist, but i know what you mean... The first times i was i Poland, i think they always look angry. you know with stone faces... But after leaning a few words of Polish and talking with them, they are so friendly, at least thats my expirence.. In my vacation last summer, i did visit Bratislava, Budapest and Vienna, and must admit i did now like Vienna as much as Bratislava and Budapest, but did not hate it for sure, and will be back, at least for visiting Le Visage.

@@scentland4753 one more thing . your reviews are beautiful and classics . it might be regional issues that that are still too many vintage giants out there that needed to be reviewed by you . I have seen your all videos and I know you don't like Armani house just because Versace was not on good terms with him and karl ( rip ) and Versace you simply love these two . me my self I am discontinued fragrance collector and user since year 2000 and I spend all my saving on discontinued fragrances I got above 600 bottles in my collection . I will personally recommend Armani sensi , Armani sensi white notes . Armani Attitude and Armani Attitude extreme . but I know you will not buy Armani products and you will never review them . anyways your videos are awesome mate it doesn't matter how many people subscribe your channel and how many people view your videos . your videos are simply AWESOME and after many many years they will be guideline for new collectors . wearing Paco rabanne EAU today as per your recommendation . weather here is crawling from spring more towards summers . it smell Awesome and no doubt after Paco rabanne sports ( EAU ) is 2nd best fragrance ever from this house . keep the great work going . many many thanks
