I did something sort of similar with the BBMB bars. I wanted more of my faves just not right now so my "husband" made a club with just bulbs and cotton clean ups and other non wax things, had that shipped right away, then I added all my BBMBs which is going to ship in Sept then I'll skip it and get it in December. Your way is better and if I hadn't already skipped August for my main club I would have done this with the spring catalog. Great video.

If I like a scent enough to club it, buying 2 bars of it through the winter I can't being a problem because I'd want those bars the next spring anyway. I do leave my monthly club undone so every BBMB or LTO bars I want to try I can just order by putting them in a new monthly club, then I delete what I don't want to say and merge those left I do want to club, merging that temporary monthly club into my bimonthly or quarterly clubs..

This is such a great idea! I wish I'd known this because I have BBMB in my bimonthly clubs and quarterly clubs and now, I can't skip them because it says I'll lose those bars permanently. I am definitely going to move my current quarterly to bimonthly and give this a shot.

Great hack! My problem is having to always have a bi-monthly club. That is too much wax coming too often. Also, another question: I thought you couldn't skip a charged shipment until the Club was over 1 year old.

I completely understand. I decided a while back if I did not want six bars of a scent in a year then I don't love it enough to have it in club anyway. LOL That's just a way I use to keep my Bi-monthly Club in check. That's the great thing about the world is that we are all different. I just chatted with consultant support and there is no one year old requirement. As long as the club has not processed it can be skipped. If a retired scent is skipped more than once during its retirement in a 12-month period it will be lost. July skip does not count toward that for spring summer catalog scents because they are still currently available in July. I hope this helps. Thanks for watching!

@@MeltItMichelle oh, interesting.... My Club is due to ship on July 21. I could skip this month cuz I've never skipped yet. My BBMB and discontinued spring scents are in there, too. I wouldn't have to move them into a bi- monthly club at all then. I would just have to keep track of the last time I skipped each retired scent. Thank you so much, Michelle!

@@suselew your July skip would count as your one allowed skip if you've already got other bars in it though. This situation only applies to the spring catalog scents because they are still available in July. If there are retired scents in there when you skip in july, you would not be able to skip them again in October or they will be removed. I hope that helps.

@@MeltItMichelle Michelle, it does help. I thought that each scent carries the number of skips counted against it. However, it sounds like even if you have one retired bar in your quarterly club, the entire club gets charged with the skip. I have two clubs. Unfortunately, the one that comes due in July has mostly retired bars. It's the one that next processes in Sept that right now has no retired bars. By Sept, I'm sure I will.

This is a good idea, as long as you are committed to a bimonthly club sinnce anything discontinued can never be in the quarterly frequency. Additionally, I think if you crunch the numbers, it's still cheaper to use the quarterly as normal... Unless bimonthly is really what you want, then it's a fantastic option. Good hack! Absolutely! Everyone needs to do what works best for them. I'm just providing the information. I decided a while back that if I did not want at least six bars of a scent per year (1 bar in bi-monthly club) then it probably wasn't as terrific as I thought it was. It's just another way for me to separate the ones that I really like versus the ones that I truly love. If money is tight then I could definitely see me moving it to quarterly but then again if money is tight I would probably just cancel the entire club. It's just wax. 🙂 Thank you for watching! 💜

Wait one question…. What happens if they don’t come back and you’re stuck with a couple? How do you save them and keep quarterly open for next time?

I like the way you think! I thought about this for a while also. You're ultimately going to need to move these scents into one of your other clubs (after the other club processes) before we even find out the next catalog scents. And then we can start the process all over again. I plan to do a part 2 hack video once we get to that point in the year, probably November/December. That way I can give everyone a visual.

Does that mean every year you could skip two times with one of the skips being in July? Or is that just for the first time you do it?

No, not at all. You can only skip one time in a 12-month period for discontinued scents. All the scents in the Spring/Summer catalog are still available in July. That is the only reason the first skip does not count. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

@@heidipirouettes Yes, you can move the frequency of the shipments as often as you like. However, you do have to move the entire frequency and aren't able to just pick a few to move. Once you move the entire frequency to join another frequency, they are combined with that other frequency. For example, all of the scents in the quarterly frequency can be moved to the bi-monthly frequency and will then be considered one bimonthly Club combined with whatever you had in bi-monthly already. They are then all in bi-monthly and can only be moved to a different frequency all together. Hope that helps too! I will be doing a part two of this hack in early December so keep an eye out for that video as well.

@@MeltItMichelle so In theory I could move everything that is in my quarterly right now which includes bring back my bars and licensed bars to a by monthly club and then put all of the spring summer retiring sense in my now empty quarterly? The only glitch I see with that is that my processing date is on the eighth of the month and I need it to be in the middle of the month. Do you think Scentsy would allow me to change my processing date? I just signed up for a club at the end of June and it processed right away. What I would like to do is have my club shipments be in July October and January. That way I can skip July’s and October’s and In Jan see what needs to stay , move or go.

@@heidipirouettes I'm not sure it would work at this point because it may not process until August and those spring summer since won't be available then so skipping that would count as your one Skip and 12 months. That is if I'm understanding your current Club setup. But you can always keep this in mind for the next catalog season retirement.

Yes, skip it before it processes. The July skip didn't count because they are still available. However that doesn't work if you have scents in the quarterly club that weren't available in July. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!

From frequently asked questions that is correct. Also others that have had scents removed but some scents stayed that was the situation. If they were currently available they did not count as a skip. Am I 100% sure this works out no. That's why I put a question mark and the word potential. LOL

I just know for it to fall where you can make edits after you've officially seen the catalog it would at least be the 12th of the month. In my mind anyway. LOL

I didn’t even think about that part til you mentioned it! So you could totally need a new club to make it happen based on your actual billing date if you already have a club! That’s super good to keep in mind!!
