Just ordered this ... for same price .. to be delivered Aug. 6th ..... can't wait. Had been on 24", 27", 24" 1920x1080 60hz setup that I had n vesa mounts and played Wow across the 3 monitors Gave the three monitors to my wife, and each of my daughters as working from home and school equates to it making sense. Now I get to see how this one will treat me. Should be a great upgrade as I've never even really seen a curved monitor while in game action, let alone use one. This is my first foray above 60hz. I know my computer was putting out about 65 to 75 fps with it display 5760x1080 at max settings for Wow (remember it was for 3 monitors of display) We'll see what I get with this adventure.

@@sik59rt I've had it for awhile now, you're right ... I do kinda want to throw another monitor next to it ... game on wide screen and internet etc on the other. I do still have the 27" 1080p monitor (not using it currently) but my graphics card is only an rx580 8gb I plan on getting the 6800xt card (somewhere in the next few months) and will put up the 27" back into use at that point. Also at that point I'll see if I can figure out how to overclock the monitor; from what I understand it can be overclocked to as high as 117fps I know the 6800xt might be overkill, but it will future proof me for quite some time at a good bang for the buck level Currently I have a 3700x ryzen 7 ... and in a couple years I'll upgrade to ryzen 9 5950. I have a 1200watt power supply... so no worries there

Just a heads up, this thing works with G Sync. Enable Freesync on the monitor OSD, then set G Sync on in the Nvidia control panel.

Yes it’s g sync compatible but not officially listed on nvidias website. For me it caused horrible screen tearing but for others it may work :)

I love this monitor, I got it about 2-3 weeks ago. 100 hertz is plenty for fps and most games, 144 is slightly nicer yes however it's worth sacrificing for the extra size and the aspect ratio. Sure it has some light bleed and the supplied DisplayPort cable didn't work with freesync properly even after using CRU but an aftermarket high quality cable fixed it. Very eager to see a direct comparison between this and the Aoc 34" 144hertz version. My buddy is thinking about getting that since mines out of stock.

When my computer goes to sleep, instead of going completely dark, this monitor keeps cycling a little gray window that says "No Signal/Please Check Your Input! Entering Power Saving Mode...". Is there a way I can turn this off so that this monitor stays black for the duration of computer sleep? Thank you!

Excellent review! just purchased this monitor, How do I get my Nivida/Window setting to say 100mhz it just says 60hz. I'm connected HDMI in 100hz port. Using GeForce GTX 660 card, Don' get me wrong I noticed a huge difference in gameplay yesterday.

You have to make sure that this monitor is the list of GSYNCE compatible monitors. Not all Freesynce monitors are compatible with GSYNCE.

If you’re running an nvidia card the option to turn on Gsync compatibility will be there even if it’s not officially certified. I tested this one and it worked fine. Others I’ve tested like the Samsung G5 run it fine or my Acer.

It’s pretty solid. It’s close to name brands but not 100% there. Tweaking your settings will get it close though.

I'm shopping now, I appreciate the advice. There's a Samsung with the same resolution for $200 more that I'm looking at. It's driving me nuts but I'm slowly narrowing the field. Most are geared toward gaming and I don't care about refresh rate or any of that. I might just go with this and save the 200. Thanks man

That is a BEAST of a monitor! DO you think that these wide angle monitors are worth it for gaming? I know they are mostly used for productivity reasons, but i've always wanted to game on one haha

For gaming it absolutely is worth it. Most games support 21:9 now and it’s such a cool experience. Now recording content in 21:9 for KZbin presents problems with end screen annotations but if you’re not doing that then it’s a no brainer :)

Thanks for the video, I've been debating getting this monitor for a bit but have been hesitant given my current specs. I'm using an HP Omen 15 Laptop that has a GTX 1060. I'm a beginner developer who games in my free time but don't really game competitively. Would it be overkill to get this monitor or should I just stick with my 24" MSI 144hz Monitor?

I’d be worried your 1060 couldn’t handle these specs. I’m assuming since it’s a laptop it’s a maxq gpu so it’s slightly under powered compared to full version. I’d keep the msi monitor unless you’re cool with doing 1080p at 60hz on this

It would struggle to hit the 100hz at 1440p ultra settings in games. Maybe low to medium settings or ultra settings at 1080p

No light bleeding with normal stuff. You’ll have some in a dark room on a black screen but it’s not bad in my opinion.
