it says alot about tom ross's caliber of play that once he makes a blunder the commentators assume they are missing something.

People think Ross made an error when getting his FoW countered by Force of Will.. Reid just showed back to back REB Stop Brainstorm Stop Force from Counterbalance. There was literally no way Ross getting out from those draws especially when Library drew him only Pierces and lands. Only hope was to make Duke forget the top card of his library.

I think Tom had an opportunity to Piracy Charm the Peacekeeper and daze the DTT at 39:34

He actually did well with his W/U Heroic, got to day 2, had some amazing games. He is a finesse player, what would you have him do, play a ramp or midrange deck?

it´s so unfair that so many legacy tournaments are in america !!!

it's actually literally just because america has the most magic players, most demand=most tournaments, like every other format

Did Reid have 8 cost cards in deck or why did he reveal cards for Counterbalance triggers on Treasure Cruise?
@TopdeckNuII7 жыл бұрын
Colgate Lampinen if he had a fetch in play he likely wanted to see if it was a card that he wanted to shuffle away

Its cool to see Infect! I also built an Infect deck but its very different from Tom's deck, I use *Tyvar's Stand* and *Tamiyo's Safekeeping* to protect my infect creatures but seeing as this match was a long time ago these cards were not yet released so he didn't have access to them. I also use *Slip Through Space* , *Distortion Strike* , and *Artful Dodge* to make my infect creatures unblockable *{::>_

Shame that The Boss didn't have a great showing here. That's the result of sticking to the W/U Heroic.

I'm sick of hearing from the commentator that Reid is playing dirty just bec he played the peacekeeper. The card was included to his sideboard for this purpose. It's not like he's doing anything illegal to keep on drawing it. Implying that it's "dirty" to play the peacekeeper against infect is like saying that playing graveyard hate cards against dredge is also dirty.
@theDeadboots2 ай бұрын
It's not that big a deal, lol. They're both laughing while they discuss the play. "Dirty" in this context just means that Reid did his opponent dirty, as in he has something that's brutally difficult for Ross to overcome. Patrick and Cedric both know that these guys are great players with nothing to hide.

IDC what you ppl say, Tom Ross plays way too passive to be an infect player. Look at what they have, and go all in.
