It's strange, isn't it? It's almost as if peace is scary to them, chaos is what they seem to be the most comfortable with...not me. The key for men, I believe is to manage fomo. You don't have to go out every night, you don't have to always make the scene..you can choose when you engage. Another key is to not be accessible at all times; you can let your closest friends know where you live and that's it. The more people that know where you live, the more that people will interrupt you and your solitude. Trust and believe, that many people are entitled and they believe they are entitled to your time at all times. I had to learn all of these things. Now I jealously guard my peace, quiet, and freedom. The reward is reflection and serenity. Best wishes for you and your life and continued peace.

I now know that I suffered severe emotional abuse from this woman and now that im finally alone again, i realize that i no longer care about women or socializing anymore. The one thing i never had before was peace so now i prefer to relax at home after work with my pets....where i actually receive unconditional love. Staying at home as a Man shows many high level traits. It shows that you are confident in yourself, comfortable with yourself, that you are supremely self-confident, and to need no one to give you self- validation, or attention. It shows that you are a thinker, it shows stoicism, it shows that you do not need to follow trends, or whatever the rest of the mainstream so city is doing. It shows complete independence. These restraints that modern society shuns, and has long ago lost its value for them. And, any person who looks down upon this as being a hermit, anti-social, a loser, a loner, or whatever other subterfuge they think, it shows how shallow they truly are. I am especially speaking to you young Men out there. Do not let this warped mainstream society cause you to cast negative thoughts upon your self. I am speaking for myself too. @fjorddenierbear4832

Depends on how you frame it perhaps. I often have intelligent discussions online. I currently have 3 types of social experiences: (1) general chat and discussions with good friends (I mainly have 1 chat friend and 1 e-mail friend) (2) KZbin/SoMe comments and similar (3) more personal convos, like phone with mother I don't really like face-to-face convos usually because they're more infested with stilted, artificial communication, but it can be nice to have a multi-hour face-to-face chat with an intelligent and nuanced person. I just don't feel the need personally tho -- at least most of the time I don't. Sometimes I do however want to meet a woman and have long conversations with her and get to know her, but at best I'd fall into another vagina trap, so it's kind of a silly idea. The idea of a woman who combines soft female behavior with a good intellect is alluring (and probably dangerous anyway).

Back in my 20's, I tried going out, socializing, and possibly meeting a lady. Not happening. I was, and am, on the skinny side. The ladies would look at me, roll their eyes, and look elsewhere. Certainly not at me, nor my direction. I took a break, then tried later in life. Now what did I find? Divorced women with children, and even a bigger anti male attitude. Especially towards me. Why was that? Well, these divorced women were looking for divorced males. A single, never married male? What was wrong with me? Did I just spend the last 10-15-20 years in jail or prison? We men like healthy routine and the stability and peace that comes with it. Many, if not most women, on the other hand, abhor routine and predictability. Therefore, they'll create drama and/or conflict out of nowhere to self-stimulate, sometimes to the point of destroying relationships. While I love my family and friends, I find being around people for long periods draining. The larger the crowd, the more draining. Worst of all, however, for me, is living with a woman, constantly wondering if your keeping her entertained enough to secure her loyalty. I'm in my 60's, single, retired and like who I've become. I live alone and enjoy my own company, take care of myself and find my solitary hobbies/activities very enjoyable...and many of them don't cost a dime. IMHO, once you realize buying things doesn't make you happy (something in which many females are sorely lacking) the world is your oyster.

Sold my apartment at the city, and bought a cabin-like place in the high elevation, surrounded by nature and forest, and I created Vatikan-like state, within a state :) With my rules, and my own moral code, which sometimes didn't overlap with society rules, but even the law leaves me alone, since I'm not hurting anyone, and unlike in the city, I found myself a job that I love, by accident, I working off some debt, and ended up being their go-to guy for everything, for a decade now! I interact with females, but am VERY selective, like deep meaningful conversation more important than anything, and that doesn't happen every day, sadly, sometimes years pass

I am not seeking a partner as I would rather be left alone in peace and quiet.

I've always been a reclusive person. ever since I was in my early 20's. never really cared for night clubs, bars or got interested in picking up bad habits. the only time I enjoy going out. is when I'm hanging out with a good friend from work, stopping by my local coin shop to buy precious metals for my hobby. I also enjoy my peace too much, making currency to build up my bank accounts and trying to stay in shape.

Call for me when the weather is nice. I’ll go after dinner on Friday night and go by myself but the rest of the time I’m here at home enjoying peace, quieter, or watch a video or this music playing instruments. You know I have other other things I can do to occupy my time you knowface clean you know just different small things but most the time I stick to myself and it’s peaceful and quiet no stress I go to work when I do have work to do. I don’t have any right now but when I have work to do I sleep.

There's a lot of elements to this. When i was in my 20's and 30's i loved going out chasing women, but the game has changed a lot. Most women don't seem to like to being approached now, so a lot of interactions are based on social media or apps. I feel for younger guys these days who wont experience what we did in bars and clubs. When you get older you leave all that shit behind and prefer your own company.

I like going to the magazine section of my nearby library, so I can read up on different interesting things that I see in those magazines. While in the library I see other women, but to me they are just a distraction, I don't pay much attention to them as I know they don't even know I exist. I'm happy being alone without such a woman in my life.

The walking dead was a metaphor for the world today. When you leave your home its zombies everywhere. So what i have done is created a home that is like a vacation resort. This way when im at home, i feel like im on vacation. I have 2 freezers packed with the highest quality elk, venison, trout, bison and enough dry foods to sit at home for months and not go hungry. I have everything i need if the grid were to shut down and have no electricity to have electricity and live just as if the grid wasnt down. And to keep from ever getting bored i play guitar, take care of over 100 house plants, garden im season, and have 2 cats that entertain me far more then humans. Im alone most of the time and absolutely love it. The irony is i could probably have any woman i want. Im 51 with the body of a 21 year old athlete but when a man reaches a certain level of self love and self mastery, he no longers desires a woman in his life. Women.are for needy, weak men who have no self respect and need basically a pacifier and a woman to change his diaper when he gets lonely and needs a woman.(whose only using him) to fill that void he hasnt learned to fill himself. I highly suggest every man make his home a vacation resort and i know most of yous wont stay away from women because you'll never outgrow the pacifier but to each his own as long as shes loyal to you

Everything is too expensive and you don’t get value for it. Driving is a nightmare and you’ll get ticketed for nothing regardless if a crimes was committed or not, once in a crowded area, you might get mugged or drugged or accused of something you didn’t do. This society sucks too bad.

I stay home because it is where I would rather be. It is also safer for me. There is zero chance that I will have some short guy with a chip on his shoulder try to pick a fight with me (it happens quite a bit). There is zero chance of a woman using me for free drinks or food. It costs me nothing and the commute can't be beat. I also have zero interest in socializing with anyone. TBH other than my kids I don't like people and would rather be around them as little as possible (people, not my kids lol ). I've spent my life being told how it is MY responsibility and obligation to care for everyone one all while these same people tell me how selfish I am when I insist on the same care being brought my way. So now I say "Stuff it. You're on your own" and my life is finally mine.
