We have this machine at work, but nobody to operate it (machinist is now retired and we have CNC machines doing "everything" except the odd jobs of course.... ) I love this thing and would like to be able to use it for small work related jobs . Recently I tried to go and thread a bolt from a 60mm stainless round bar but I could not figure how to use the threading . Basically I cannot even have the power feed to work , no advance no nothing . I tried the lever to the right, switching forward right, backwards right , does nothing, the main screw doesn't even spin to start with ... it's like the machine is stuck in all manual mode if it makes any sense . Is there something amiss? Broken?

Are the gear selectors in gear? Do you have changegears installed in the back cover? These are just the most obvyous things, i use these machines off and on for the 8 years

@shad0whunter69 ok 1 year later and we managed to figure some things out : the knob to engage the lead screw was loose and didn't engage, now it's good, we can do threads :) Now the automatic feed on the other hand, is electric and the circuit is fried unfortunately . Not a huge deal 🤝 Thank you
