I don't understand why Sheana is always blamed for things. I started rewatching the series from season 1 and although she does seem to like gossip (who else on the show doesn't?) She is always been a people pleaser. Watching her find her true love after everything is really sweet to see. I'm glad she's come into her own and how sure of herself she has been these last several seasons. No one can say she is a disloyal friend. She's kind to those who are kind to her. Seeing Katie change into such an angry person is really shocking when you go back to the beginning. I think I like the old Katie more but I think it's really eye opening to rewatch from 10 years ago. I'm just at the part where Ariana and Tom got together and Kristen is so sad seeing Ariana in her old life. Seeing how they all have made mistakes makes me wonder why Scandavol was such a big deal. It's actually probably the best thing to happen to other casemates who are cashing in on it. Let's move on and continue to grow maybe 🤔.

@juliejohnson5908 the difference is Kristen and Ariana were not friends. Rachel was best friends with Ariana and they had sex in their bed, they had sex out in the car in front of their house. That’s the difference. I’m not saying Ariana wasn’t wrong messing with Tom bf he broke up with Kristen I’m saying it’s 1000% different. IMHO

I take Zoloft, it was the best decision I’ve ever made. It didn’t make me any more tired than I was. Mom of a little one when I started and a nurse working shift work. I was tired before I started 😂. Talk to your dr about options or giving it just a little longer. It takes that long to really reach its desired effect and the point to where you might want an increase. I went from 25 to 50. And I’ve taken as high as 100’mg at one point. But I find myself comfortable and happy at 50mg. No matter what you and your family and dr decide. Good for you getting your mental health taken care of. Love the podcast, looking forward to the new season. ♥️♥️

Scheana, I have tried several anti anxiety meds and I always feel the effects within a day or two. You better believe you will be feeling it within 2 weeks. It just depends on your sensitivity. I am very sensitive. That’s why I don’t take any of that stuff anymore. I use meditation, movement, diet and therapy now and that works well for me.

As a person with OCD other people need to understand the person they love or work with has a set way to schedule and organize the way it works for them. I still have a paper planer and then I set up my Apple calendar. I also reconcile my bank statements every month on paper and insert all my receipts inside the bill for credit cards. It works for me and they can do theirs as they please. I have never bounced a check or went over my credit limits for 40 years. So funny you were talking about Enchiladas and we just made a large pan of beef red sauce flour tortillas and a large pan of chicken green sauce flour tortillas. Once everyone ate the flour tortilla enchiladas it was kinda unanimous on liking flour tortillas. They are one of the meals that I can eat leftovers. The other is my homemade spaghetti sauce that I simmer for hours with thin spaghetti noodles, it goes on most any type of 🍝 pasta❤love you guys and been watching VPR since season one and you have always been my favorite because I saw how genuine and kind you are. So happy you and Brock have found each other and had the most beautiful Summer Moon 🎀

Scheana. Thanks for sharing your mental health journey. I can totally relate to you and appreciate it. Brock, don't worry about trying to get Summer to like certain things, she will see/feel your disappointment and mental health is genetic. It could be a texture thing with certain foods, and our taste buds change over time. great vlog, love the new song version.

I take zoloft at night and it’s been great. I’ve taken it at night since I was prescribed it like 10 years ago. Definitely try it that way for a little bit, that might help things out. It made a huge difference in my anxiety and depression. It does usually take 4-6 weeks for zoloft to kick in, but you are a very small person so it might have something to do with that if it worked quicker.

Zoloft DEFINITELY gave me insomnia. However, it’s been the best anti depressant I’ve ever been on. It helps with my anxiety big time. Besides insomnia, (I now take it in the morning) Zoloft hasn’t given me any unwanted side effects. Zero weight gain.

It DOES work that fast sometimes, from experience. If you stop it's gonna come back because you have a chemical imbalance. You have a history and have been on medication before and when you stopped it came back... so so that's what leads me to believe your someone who has to be on meds.... nothing wrong with it! I'm on meds, I smoke weed (for my sleep, appetite, etc), and occasionally drink. Everything in moderation

Zoloft (Sertaline where im from) does make me sleepy if i take it in the AM and gives me insomnia if i take it before bed 🤪 So i just take it midday with a coffeee 🤷🏼‍♀️

15:58 I’ve been on Zoloft since 2018 and I would not recommend taking it at night for that exact reason the pharmacist stated. Sertraline (Zoloft is the company that sells it) is an upper. It’s to help combat anxiety and depression and to help chemically balance your brain. You would never be able to sleep taking it at night.

Trust yourself and your doctor to get you where you need to be. If you need meds, no big deal. Been on depression and anxiety meds forever . But it is what it is. Have a blessed week !

I have been on zoloft for years. My dr told me to take mine before bed because I had more episodes in the morning with anxiety. It also keeps my OCD more at bay so that might make you think you are sluggish. I would also wait at least a month or two for it to fully react in your system. You may need to try something else if it still feels the same, but you need to give it a little more time.

Your meds could be related, but it is also an adjustment period and wont feel level for 6-8 weeks usually so you need to give it a bit more time as well and youll sort it out ❤ just so you know as well cannabis can have negative effects specifically with anxiety...am glad youre using your doctor!

Stay on the zoloft! Let your body get use to it before making any decisions! The best I have mentally felt was being on zoloft. I did come off because I wasn't able to loose any weight being on it. I have tried many different kinds of antidepressants and it took me 2.5 years to figure out what really works for me. I highly recommend staying on for at least 3 months before deciding if it works for you or not. Thank you for being so honest and sharing your story! The more you talk about it and accept it the easier it is to be in control of your own mental health!❤
