Oh yeah, I got turned onto Schecter by a friend & a purchase from the Cort guitar company. It quickly became my favorite axe. I went to a local dealer ( CJ's Music in Moreno Valley & He tells me he doesn't care what the brand says, it's a Schecter). I have since got 2 C1FR guitars & A Schecter C1 Hellraiser with a set neck. Love them, a great deal for a superb guitar. I love the Les Paul & Strat on steroids vision on these. I've been playing a long time & these are simply monster specimens

get the one without the tremolo, upgrade the pickups to sd blackwinter or dimarzio super distortion + paf pro; then you get a shredding lead guitar for playing solos.

A lot of their guitars with high gain pickups also have a coil splitter. Their guitars are literally great for any kind of music you may be into because they are so versatile

FYI...that second sustainiac switch is actually for the harmonic you want to produce, not the delay time. I have a sustainiac schecter and you can even listen to him playing the different settings and tell.

The mini toggle switch on sustainiac as you describe is not to adjust velocity, is more to change harmonics, 1st step plays unison notes, position 2 plays first harmonic and position 3 plays second harmonic. MHO. Nice video man I love your guitar.

I'll go on record and say that Schecter / ESP are the absolutely the best value of any guitar on the Market right now. Mostly due to the extreme high quality of the Korean craftsmanship, but also because of the INCREDIBLE detail that Schecter puts into every minute detail of their guitars. I mean, LOOK at this thing and how it's spec'd out!! Back in the '80s when I was in High School, this thing would be seriously, almost $4000 if made by Jackson! :) Peace ♫

Schecter make great guitars. My first Schecter goes back to the late 80's. Have 4 including this one. BTW man, FYI that 3rd knob is not a tone knob. It varies how quick the feedback cuts in. Great work. I enjoy your Vids. Cheers!!

This has got to be the best spec'd, best priced, best sounding guitar ever. Absolutely incredible for the money and so nice to play. I don't like really thick or thin necked guitars but this has the one of thinnest necks on a guitar I find comfortable. That matte finish on the entire back of the guitar has made me prefer it to bolt on or glossy finishes and just makes playing so amazingly comfortable. I strongly feel like this axe is the best schecter guitar on the market and in many only reviews it beats out the competition which it is judged against which include gibson, esp, ibanez prestige and prs se models. Most if not all of which are more expensive. That speaks volumes of this guitars worth, but don't take my word for it. Find a way to try one out and see for yourself.

Ok, ok, ok...don't get too ahead of yourself...YES this is a great guitar for the price, but it is still a Korean built, mass produced guitar that CANNOT compete with Japanese built ESP, or Ibanez Prestige. There's a reason for this being priced much lower than ESP's and Prestige's.

honestly for 6 strings i'm probably gonna go for chapman guitars every time, but when it's 7 or 8 strings it's gonna be schecter, acoustic would be fender and bass guitars (because i also play bass) will always be ibanez

Actually i have been too buddy. Im in the high desert and its messing with the intonation. Take it to the shop for a tune up :)

I had the same buzz problems with my Keith Merrow Schecter. In part it is because Schecter uses very high frets. It needed quite a few rounds with the tech (fret levelling, neck ajustment). Mine also needed a slight raising of the nut since it was very low, that was also a factor in the buzz problems.

used to have a c-1 platinum, but eventually grew away from it due to the emg's in it. i much rather prefer a gibson or a jackson with some seymour duncans in it.

+Saar Eric this guitar is AMAZING. ALL guitars no matter what brand ,if they have a floating tremelo on it then it is the nature of the beast. To say don't buy this guitar is ignorant. DEFINITELY BUY THIS GUITAR ,unless you don't want a floating tremolo system then go with a standard bridge. KEEP ROCKIN'

+Saar Eric if your being honest then it must have a trem block to keep it from pulling back. I've been playing guitar for 33 years and every single guitar I owned with a floating tremolo pulls flat of you SRE bending the things. It's the natural nature of the beast. But this schecter is my favorite of all of them.
