Yes the grandmother used and aphrodisiac, but the woman she wanted to marry her grandson was already pregnant with the his brother's kid. In order to secure a higher position she needed to marry Tushan Jing. So he got tricked to believe the kids was his from a night he doesn't remember. Despite some plot holes and unbelievable scenes like this one, it really is a great cast of actors. I can't wait for Season 2 next year.

Technically it was all a lie and nothing happened between him and the other woman, but it wasn't his fault he was drugged and thought to be raped. I certainly resented him for not saying anything to her before this moment when she found out. He was also way too passive with how he lacked the ability to handle any of it. BUT, the circumstance was not his fault. If the roles were reversed and he was the woman, audiences would be up in arms because it was rape.

This episode is so frustrating. It's obviously the scheme of tushan hou and fengfang yi yi as she is just after the the power. they made it look like something happened between jing and her. We all know that she may really be pregnant but it's tushan hou's child. 😏Well I'm quite relieved by reading other viewers comment regarding this. Probably in season 2 they will find out the truth and have a happy ending just like other suggest as the story follows the novel.
