This theme plays not only when an engine has run afoul of the Fat Controller's displeasure, but he is pleased with an engine's work - such as when he praised James for making the trucks behave in "Troublesome Trucks"/"Foolish Freight Cars", when he praised Duck for his bravery in averting a far more serious accident in "A Close Shave", and when he announced that Donald and Douglas would be permitted to stay in Sodor.
