Anyone can eat dosa but not everyone can make dosa. Getting the consistency and the heat right is hard af. I’m a Tibetan living in West Bengal (far from South India), my mom is from Karnataka (refugee camp). I recently got fed up eating dosa from store since my indulgence is getting expensive. Making it from scratch and the authentic way is both cheap and the taste 😍, once you get the hang of it. I watch such videos to improve my dosa skills and its always satisfying to watch dosa being made. I’m off to make my dosa now.

I made masala dosas once before. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I realised the trick was to have a damp towel by the side. This is to clean the hot plate and reduce its temperature before next dollop of dosa mix comes. It is not as easy as she makes it look.
