By now, Schindler has already modernized these elevators. We will all remember the Shotis elevators. Schindler put in these new LCD display indicators on the new elevators.

SchOTIS! Interesting. Most likely, these needed a mod as they were probably not running as well as they were supposed to be, hence, OTIS coming in and doing a mod. It's a little surprising they left the MT buttons. A while back, I found an OTIShouse (actually an SchOTIShouse as that was a 1988 transitional era Schindler/Westinghouse). Only thing was that a majority of the Schindler/Westinghouse parts were still there, and there some new OTIS fire service panels and controllers.

It has a Schindler MT call button on the outside but it has an Otis series 1 buttons on the inside!

I been on that elevator before. Interesting that the cab panels were not touched.

ugh i always lose at Atlantis. you should do walk arounds of the hotels that would be cool.

I think they were just trying to keep the look of these consistent with the newer Otis high rise. The low rise RT are falling apart, so I wonder how long until those are modernized too.

The low rise as of this year have been modded.

Schindler MT hall call buttons but everything else is still Otis series 1.

+aceee06 Actually its the other way around. Otis Series 1 COPs, but everything else is still Schindler MT.

And the Buttons look similar. (The Series 1 are Perfect Square Buttons, while the MT ones have rounded corners and a concave surface, like DOVER Impulse)

It's confusion how this went because the High Rise have the same cab model but its all Otis.
