It causes an chemical imbalance in your head causing you to hear voices and see things. It can be reversed by filling it up with pee again. I've had so many experiences and hallucinations in the years I've had this disorder: from three children who want my kidneys, to Cizin who tries to kill my other hallucination, or Alma, who protects me. There is also a cheerleader who calls me dumb and asks me questions about mathematics and a man who committed suicide who is always trying to trick me, but we work together in the dream world. Luckily, my meds get rid of the other dimensions of reality, and I don't have night terrors anymore. I have a lot of cognitive difficulties. Those plague me now.
@fedupwithads11442 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. If you can, would you be able to answer the following (I’m trying to really understand this disorder): these delusions that you have, is it a case of you really believe them at the time or is it rather that you feel that is what’s happening at the time but you kind of know that rationally it makes no sense and it’s probably not true? And if you believe the delusions at the time, what do you think about them when you’re “out” of that episode, do you go back to “normal” (if there is such a thing) rational thinking? Thank you
@willtbh57242 жыл бұрын
Alma is the goat
@rentalsnake6542 Жыл бұрын
@@fedupwithads1144 I can’t speak for the original commenter, but I’ll give you my answer through experience: Delusions came in different severities and it wasn’t a case of absolute belief or disbelief, it’s more like a spectrum where some were more believable and problematic than others. You could wrestle with one particular delusion for a whole day and finally conclude that it was a delusion, and then the next day you find supposed evidence to the contrary and it starts up again. People think that when a person is in psychosis they’ve lost all reason and logic, but I’ve heard it said that a person in psychosis has lost everything _but_ reason and logic. I had lost touch with reality but hadn’t lost touch with reason and logic, which meant that when something strange happened I’d look for the logical explanation within my own psychotic realm as that was where I existed at the time. An event like a stray cat coming to your garden can lead to one thought, then the next thought, and before you know it you’ve come to the conclusion that you and the cat share the same consciousness and it was telepathically drawn to you, or something like that. It really feels as though you’re in a world that other people just can’t experience, which is why it can be hard to get a psychotic person to accept that they’re in psychosis. Really though, just because a person is experiencing reality in a way that’s different from how the majority experiences it, doesn’t make it any less real. I’m glad I had the experience, it was very insightful.

If you (or someone you know) can see/hear spirits, you are NOT alone or CRAZY! You are like me a person with a third eye/ear capability. We represent about 10% of humanity. I was Paranoid Schizophrenic for sometime. I did the meds and therapies too, but there seem to be no end/final cure. So I did my own research. BTW, I am an Engineer with a highly analytical mind. Once I knew the REAL reason (Spirits) I was set FREE ! I even turned the tables on the evil spirits. I TORMENTED them with Worship Songs, Quoted Holy Scripture to them. Even called them names and mocked them. It drove them away. The spirits would come back a few days later but I gave them the SAME treatment. Eventually they gave up. I've been meds free for the last 16 years now. The spirits no longer bother me, because I'm NO LONGER FUN to torment. The spirits prefer scared & confused victims. So Im sharing my experience and insights. You can get schizophrenia from various reasons like a serious head injury, use of illegal drugs, practice of black magic, or traumatic events like rape, bullying, rejection, total isolation, death of a loved one or near-death experience. Anything that seriously WEAKENS your body, EMBITTERS your soul, and affects your FAITH in God, also WEAKENS your protective spiritual AURA and allows the evil spirits to communicate with you. You can pick RANDOM evil spirits from morgue, cemeteries, hospitals, asylums, jails, dungeons, and abandoned houses and isolated forests. Our physical and spirit worlds exists in parallel dimensions, separated by force fields. The spirits can see/hear us, we can't see/hear them NORMALLY. Spirits communicate by MENTAL TELEPATHY ( mind to mind ) that's why ONLY you can see or hear them. That's why the spirits can also READ YOUR MIND/THOUGHTS ! You can also secretly TALK/SHOUT to them by TELEPATHY - in the presence of other people. No one will notice & think you're CRAZY ! Ive done this a few times & forced the spirits away. Spirits can also DISTORT human speech. For example if your friend says " Hello, What's Up ? " it will sound like " You're UGLY & STUPID ! " and so you'll get ANGRY. That's how spirits make you PARANOID & anti-social. The speech distortion happens only a few SECONDS ! The speakers face suddenly changes to an UGLY facial expression ! The Spirits TRUE FACE shows !! Then the face reverts back to normal and the speaker is NOT even aware of what happened. He'll wonder why you're angry at him ! Ive seen this many times !! The evil spirits want to isolate you socially. You're their TOY ! Spirits can also SHAPE SHIFT - appear in ANY form (animal or people). They can IMITATE other peoples LOOKS/VOICES and pretend like real people. Spirits can also produce SOUNDS like knocking on doors, footsteps, crying or screaming people, scratching on walls, police sirens, barking dogs etc. Their plan is to ISOLATE you socially .. for themselves. Make people think you're CRAZY .. even if you re NOT. Resist them, Don't give up .. or you're really gonna end up crazy. Remember this, its NOT you but THEM (spirits) that's causing this. Fight them, mock them, eventually they'll give up and leave. .

He was subjected to countless electric shock treatments which did seem to halt his symptoms, but left him a shadow of a person. They almost literally smashed his brain with a hammer until it stopped displaying the symptoms. This is such a hard illness, but I see in many pantients that they know they have schizo, my uncle is not aware of his illness, my grandma (she passed away) never told him about his diagnosis and whenever he had to take his medicine she told him it was vitamins or medicine for his diabetes and high blood pressure which he also has problems with. My grandma was a single mom and she thought best not to tell him the truth in order to protect him, she never went to school and did her best to raise 7 children alone. The downside part besides her not telling him about his illness, is that she also didn't teach him to be self-sufficient so he can't live a normal life, he's 58 yet he's like a big child, you have to tell him to take a shower, to give him his medicine, to even tell him how to sit properly. I only hope someday he can find peace of mind, it is heartbreaking to see him get worse.

From my own experience of voices and hallucinations it is closely linked to a brain injury, and trauma in my central nervous system that has imprinted on me somatically. My somatic symptoms of PTSD along with my brain damage generate my psychosis. The 'voices' are the subvocalising mechanism of the brain (the symbolic, language part) that when you read a book you hear the voices in your head, a bit like how with visualisation you can (unless you suffer from aphantasia) conjure the image of an apple within your 'minds eye.' You also have a minds ear! But when the function in your brain that regulates it is effectively switched off the symbolic part takes over and over time the sense of having voluntary control over aspects of your body and psyche start to diminish (your motor neurons which are responsible for voluntary action.) Movement medicine is probably one of the most effective cures as it takes you away from the symbolic core into stimulating and reinforcing the motor neurons which makes psychosis more manageable.

I've always found highly intelligent individuals with mental illnesses extremely fascinating. I've met a few, and like watching hyperintelligent serial killer documentaries, I've found myself oddly drawn to them. It's like being at either end of the spectrum, like being unable to harness your mind and its capacity and so those brainwaves keep overflowing and leaking out causing insanity.

Fight them, mock them, eventually they'll give up and leave. .

I know someone who is schizophrenic and I have said for years, it is like they are dreaming/some sort of sleep state that their brain is caught in. I mean, for years I have described my interaction with this person this way because there were and are times, when they seem completely lucid *but then will be in that, what I call, dreaming state, overlapping. It is interesting she described her experience as a dreaming~

When people say “they hear voices” is it like an actual voice or a thought that has been given a voice? Does that make sense? I don’t want to offend anybody I was just curious
@ernieortega92866 жыл бұрын
Artistic_ Fangirl_trash not offensive at all. I could only imagine that it is somewhere in between. Possibly just the sensation of hearing or intercepting a voice. Whatever the case is I'm sure words can't do it justice..if that makes sense
@dtsuga.60346 жыл бұрын
Artistic_ Fangirl_trash It's not a thought, it's someone inside your head whispering to you. So the answer is an actual voice. For me I have three primary voices. 1. A little boy named Shade. Very hyper. Seemingly represents my hysteria. 2. A deep raspy voice named The Summoner. Summons the hallucinations that I see and yells commands; almost always angry. Represents my rage. 3. A young woman named Sara. Never stops sobbing; Shade's mother. Represents the ongoing depression I feel.

Since I was 15 years old, I have experienced schizophrenia. It like a demon attempting to use your thoughts to take control of your life. Only medication can stop hallucinations from happening. Being occasionally deluded and perceiving unreal things. I acted like a robot after my dose and didn't really feel anything. Because it's a lifetime of misery, I've made countless attempts at suicide. It hurts when society judges and disparages us.

Every once in awhile while I am feeding hay to my animals I will hear 2 voices talking to me and giving me advice. I call one anger and one courage. Anger used to be very quiet but now all he ever does is talk and Courage used to talk a lot but now he never speaks and that makes me think he is scheming something. I will also hear a really evil girl wake me up when I try to sleep but it only ever happens every couple of months, but two days ago she started calling my name while I was awake. I also used to talk to a little boy named George who used to live in Wisconsin (which is far from me) but got hit by a car and now chills in my back woods because this was his grandmas farm, but I haven't seen in him months, which makes me think he replaced anger and took his place and is posing as anger. Do I sound schizophrenic?

It's getting worse as I get older. It really is. I also jumped out of a moving car during an episode And smashed my head so hard and was gushing blood. I jumped up because my fiance was already on the phone with 911 and I literally could already hear the sirens. I went off on the paramedics ND refused any and all treatment and when police showed up I really went off. And these were not cops who knew how to deal with such a thing. They just forced me to sign the medics paper saying I refuse treatment which is insane they should have forced me to go. And now I regret not going. Every since that the schizophrenia feels worse and more prominent and I'm for sure surprised I didn't die I was all fucked up. Cuts all over road rash stretching from ankles to ass and pretty sure I had a brain bleed. I got super sick and violent for 2 or 3 weeks after. I could barely move and would vomit alllllllllll day and all night. like really idk how I made it. At the time I really didn't want to. And nobody understands. Nobody. Acting like I'm attention seeking... Yea... If I want your attention I'll address you by name. Not jump from a speeding car or filet myself up like a fucking rockfish. Yeeep

I cried out to god to releive me from this pain and wash me clean, repenting and praying for my enemies who persecuted me and treated me less than which made me angry (while having flashbacks of molestation, I feel like I was raped in my sleep by jinn/demons as child/teen or by my ex, I have cptsd forsure from my upbringing) I was suffering for month, with mood Stings, paranoia, aggression, I thought I was possessed or something. I cried out to god and asked jesus to help me, I felt angelic presence and I wanted to astral project that night, when I woke up the next morning I heard a whisper „I forgive you“. My brother has the same symptoms, maybe it’s a trauma response but if you study religious topics you will come to the realization that either the bible was written by schizophrenics or we are the prophets of today.

More than brain activity there has to be some protein upregulation, like a biomarker. Hard to get though as it involves mind, thinking and willing. But one cannot forget there is rationalizing, discrimination, enquiry and so many other faculties as normal and functional. Personally, with instances watching people in Huntington's / Alzheimer ward gives a thought disease could progress or slow down with the quality of care and people around focusing on wellness . At times the so called medications which the patients gets administered and the environment makes one dull which eventually looses the functionality and succumb to illness. This is in general, well connected with people who have lewy protein in their brain through dementia. But then, this is not the same as vascular dementia as it is an effect of stroke the vocal, auditory signals gets jammed the so called neuorns towards and from brain. Thanks Nature for the share of the video.

The dark and negative music helps no one and does not help to enlighten others so people aren't so stigmatized because of this disorder. I'm trying to understand this more as my new neighbor has schizophrenia and everyone in our apartments completely avoids him. I feel sorry that ignorance isolates , I try to listen but he does not open up on a personal level and seems fixated on music that isn't my taste at all , he can talk non stop about that , I'm trying but I'm not getting what it must be like for him. I try to treat him as normal because everyone else treats him as not and I may be the only person that talks to him in a weeks time.

RandomFailz99 you see, you are conscious of that yet some people need to create some stories of supernatural things and ghosts happening but it's all in impulses, our memories. brain is very complicated part of our body so we need to control it how we can. i haven't done any research but hearing sometimes that someone calling you is that mentally you are sensitive for being aware that someone might need you for something so you stay aware slightly over the top with that sense but that is just my random thought on that

A cut across the brain may have triggered her a bit. People assume schizophrenia makes you completely dumb. It doesn’t. It just makes you afraid & pick up on queues & words that are scary. Such as saying “cut across the brain” can feel like a threat. When everyone else just heard him talking about the machine.
