The progress of that custom is so satisfying! I'm learning a lot just watching!!😍

Absolutely amazing! I will say, the front right foreleg looks a small bit long. The way I curb this in my own work is to measure wire to be the exact same length on both legs, measuring joint angles and distance between joints and using that wire as my base for structure. The right hip could also use some forward repositioning. On Schleich it’s a lot harder than hallow plastic models. The way I do it: to move a hip joint forward, file down the back of the flank and hock and add new angles and muscle outlines. Then going to the front of the knee I’d add more volume and shape. To move it back is almost exactly opposite. File on the knee and the top of the hip “pin” bone, moving it forward and adding volume the rear of the flank. The biggest help for me was learning anatomy! I hope this helps you too. Definitely look forward to seeing more of your resculpts! Keep up the great work!

I think everyone who has repainted was bad at one point, but practice makes perfect! I enjoy watching people repaint and sculpt like this, and you are absolutely amazing at it. Keep up the good work! 💕

if youre cheap like me and use Milliput, the different colours definitely have different consistencies. And they cost different amounts with the white seeming to be the most expensive (maybe the black too?) in my experience. (Excuse typos because I broke my right arm...nightmare!). I would give constructive criticism if I saw you doing anything glaringly wrong but generally I dont like to because people can take it wrong but believe me 60 years of looking at horses makes any inconsistencies jump right out at me. I got my CollectA Andalusian stallion and its beautiful...I am so scared of making tack this small but I have ordered some leather and some leather lace but it all needs to wait on my hand regaining motion.

Haha I understand! I hope I can get more familiar with the anatomy. I might try sketching it since I think that may help me visualize it 🤪

I love it, you are sooo talented, but I would recommend changing the bent front leg, I think that it is a tad bit long and bent too low, but overall, I LOVE IT SOOOO MUCH!!!!💖

Speaking of critiques, the back left gaskin should be a little less chubby. But since I like the way your art teacher told you how to critique.....I really love the over all sculpt and especially the front legs! 💕

If you did say it in this video or any other videos I’m sorry cause I had to go to school. But what paint do you use and can you use normal acrylics? And what for the pastels? I’ve tried repainting but mine got so bad :(
