Schlitterbahn Water Park | Floating the Comal River | Family Vacation 2024 |

Last weekend we visited Schlitterbahn waterpark in New Braunfels, TX. Voted best waterpark in the world. It was pretty awesome if you can look past the horrendously long lines. Lots of cool things for people of all ages. We stayed at Sun Retreats Texas Hill Country cabins and that is a pretty awesome little RV Park. The next day we floated the Comal River which was a nice scenic little float, but a bit too much for people with small kids.

I grew up going to float the Guadalupe in New Braunfels three times a year. Despite the drinking by adults, we always had a family friendly experience. Definitely do not remember any people that smelled like skunks back then. I've never been to the waterpark because even young me wasn't into standing in lines for 30 seconds of excitement...
